If you can get the vertical lift props to be aligned front-to-back when stopped, that may really cut down drag during cruise mode with the gas engine. You may be able to do something simple like have a hall-effect sensor detect a magnet on the prop. Then briefly turn on each motor individually until you detect the magnet.

@@yamashe8480 It would be unbalanced if you only put in one magnet. But I assume the other drone designers put in a magnet on both blades of the two-bladed prop. It doesn't matter which blade is in front or back, just that they are aligned with the airstream when the drone is in forward flight. At the very end of this video: th-cam.com/video/JZVqRJ-VuWw/w-d-xo.html you see 3 of the 4 lift propellers stop facing front-back, though the 4th is perpendicular. I'm sure that was not an accident.
That fuel tank is dangerous. You need to have inner walls and a design that deals with fuel not reaching the tube when pitching/rolling on a near empty tank. There's many ways of doing this. The simplest is shaping the tank so that fluids always reach the outlet point within pitch/roll parameters. Think of a funnel but obviously less extreme. Secondly, you should consider having assembly to be (near) tool less. It's not necessarily that complicated to design parts like that. Think locking pins/tabs instead of screws.
The microphone of mobile phone made the sound is louder than the actual. The engine can not be heard after about 500m. If you need longer endurance, we have more recommendation. For more information pls send your requirements to: info@viewprotech.com
I am in the UAS field and have been over 15 years. Endurance doesn’t sell without offering a payload to define a mission. You shouu is LD strive for 14 hours of endurance and lower your acoustics. You show that it can fly - well it has wings and a prop so that is a given. I’d recommend to show people what it can do in that ten hours. That will be your selling point or else you are just like any other vertical lift asset on the market.

No, it's very considerate because the engine needs buffering.🦉
