Think I’m in the minority as far as preferring Paige as our tour guide. It seems more intriguing to get to know the homeowner just from their worldly possessions and maybe a halfway off-camera response here & there when Paige ponders something and shouts a question. It’s a refreshing, reflective format; really enjoy this series on the channel!
Agreed. I like the mystery with just a few moments with the guest. If the guest talks way more it's going to feel like every other home decor interview show. This isn't Apartment Therapy or AD. I like the more laid back, quiet style.
Same I would be disappointed if she wasn't the our tour guide. I really love seeing her show us someone else's space, but through her eyes. I love her perspective and the comments she makes on things as she goes. For me her presentation is an integral part of my enjoyment of these tours. If changing anything I would say to to maybe add some sort of small clip of the homeowners near the end commenting on their home. Them saying what they most love their home or something. Them quickly showing something they might want to highlight/comment on in their home, but having it be a short addition not the main portion of the tour. Really, I love the tours just as they are though.
I like that Liv wasn't afraid to have two of an item to create symmetry in some areas. I feel that people shun having any symmetry in favor of total eclecticism but it's nice to have it at times to ground a space. It also adds a nuance of maturity and sophistication that makes the whole room look more intentional.
Same. I love that it has both elements, it feels very well rounded. Like you said it feels very mature and intentional but also whimsical, vibrant, cozy, creative, expressive and playful. It feels very much unique to her own style, which to me always feels a marvelous thing. I love it when character that a person has created in their home almost feels akin to being a kindred spirit of themselves.
Just. Wow. This is one of the most comfortable-feeling, serene homes I've ever seen! Liv's artwork, textiles, arrangements and pretties have been displayed to perfection! What a treat this was! :)
I love how minimal this is without being full on minimalist. it's perfectly curated, even having all white walls and kitchen cabinets feels fresh and purposeful. this is why Scandinavian design works so well, minimal, fresh but so cozy.
You should def keep doing the series as is, there are so many formats where the homeowners show you around and I personally looove the vibe of having the feeling we're just snooping around someone's home with Paige!
The turquoise sofas look like the sofa from the 1962 cardboard Barbie Dream House. The salt dishes with tiny spoons are called "salt cellars." Great lighting, rhythm and flow. Very cozy without looking cluttered. ABOUT THE ART, I noticed that a lot of attention was paid to the silhouettes of objects and the groupings of similar silhouettes, colors and textures. I first noticed the white vases on three shelves back lit by the dining room window. There was a group of black vases against a white wall and several groups of larger textured vases. I will have to watch this video at least twice more to enjoy multiple themes, groupings and repetitions. Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Ok, first off, Liv is adorable. I think you’re going to create a whole new community of wonderfully creative friends from this TH-cam endeavour, Paige. Secondly, I would have bought that house on the spot for that attic space alone !! Whaaaattt ?!? What a gorgeous home. It’s so eclectic and every room has it’s own personality and yet it all flows together seamlessly. I love it. Thank you, Liv, for opening your beautiful home to us. And thank you, Paige, for another enjoyable tour ❤
I am so inspired by the way her personal style is the star of the home! Many people feel they must honor a period home down to every final detail. But the homeowner’s style here is very apparent in her furnishings and art, while the history of the home plays as a beautiful backdrop. So so good. 👍🏾
I’ve never been so JEALOUS. This home is absolutely beautiful and has given me much inspiration. I admire the life she has brought into her house. THIS is why I love interior design AHHHH *heart is melting, brain is exploding*
This is my favorite COTFH. I love that this home showcases the fact that interiors can lean traditional/antique and still be minimal. I also have *almost* the exact same bed (inspired by Caroline). I got it off FB Marketplace for a couple hundred, so there are plenty of pencil post beds floating around out there.
99% of the reason why I follow this page is for your personality/personal style/opinions - I would love if you kept being the tour guide of these homes! Not everyone can show off their home the way you can (if that makes sense lol)
Video idea : I think you should film what people’s home look like before you prop style them and show the process of you styling them for the photos/videos. you can release it after these “check out this fckn home videos kinda like a BTS
This is the best home yet. It’s so beautiful! I love that you give the tour and that there’s a little from the homeowner as well. Your videos are the best
As a child that attic was like my dream bedroom. Cheaper by the dozen vibes. That whole house is beautiful, though. I love the vintage furniture and fabric choices. The backyard and sunroom are so stunning, too.
One of my fav parts of this series is the ambient noise. I like how you leave in the white noise, floor creaks, and sounds coming from other rooms. It's more immersive.
Beautiful and thoughtfully curated. Love seeing how stripes can add continuity throughout a home. It’s also nice to find wood furniture and make your own cushions (avoiding bedbugs 😂). My favorite tour!
What a gorgeous home. Very carefully curated yet liveable & all the more impressive for not being a conventionally box shaped home and for sourcing most of the stuff from Facebook marketplace etc. Liv has a really great eye for detail and textiles, artwork & homeware have been displayed beautifully. Truly inspirational. Thanks Paige for showing us round!
Absolutely stunning home. Wow. The bones are just incredible, and of course she's decorated it so beautifully and subtly. It's clear that she didn't want to to overwhelm the space and really used her furnishings as a foil for the house's design. Bravo!
killlller home!! Reminds me a lot of my neighbors' house growing up. We lived across the street from a Dutch fashion designer who is a close family friend and her home looked just like this. Very european, low-key and big on wood, but with a few whimsical accents, like that pink room (the rug in there is incredible). This tour brought back memories for me and gave some fantastic inspiration. So glad i checked out Liv's f*cking home !!
I adore this house - the windows, doors and trim, even the sound of the doors opening and closing are remarkable. Her decorating style is authentic and honours the bones of her home. Definitely a favourite COTFH!
I love to see the interest in giving things a second life instead of just buying new, it benefits us all to keep the planet healthier for my grandchildren and everyone. She has a very good eye like you do, to display and curate a mix of old and new. I really enjoyed this, some areas I wouldn’t necessarily enjoy dusting but I have a feeling her vignettes change with time. 👏🏻
Love this episode- my home is suburban and also built in the early 90s- and while this home is blessed with slightly less open concept it reminded me so much of my home. Great example of how to overcome the cookie-cutter aesthetic. Thanks for the fabulous tour, Paige!
This house is so lovely. This video is such a great reminder on how mixing eras and styles makes a room so visually interesting. I love how you highlight the little pieces in these tours, too. That gorgeous upholstery drew me in right away, because my cats would destroy those heirlooms immediately.
This is the best "f***ing" home you have ever shown. I LOVE it !! It has a wonderful feel and it is eclectic without being crazy, it's conventional without being stuffy, it's artsy without being totally over the top and it feels like a home I would LOVE to live in. It reminds me of many of the older homes I grew up enjoying in my small southern town. I WANT to move in right now and enjoy the warmth and friendliness of this lovely home. Thanks Paige for choosing this home to tour. I really enjoy this series !!
I love the mix of folksy with modern. I also love that all the arrangements look like she just went in the backyard and snipped off some weeds or branches.
I have to say I am so impressed with this home. The styling is so sophisticated and professionally done while preserving a light fullness. Just gorgeous ❤ My personal favourite out of this series.
The white wire atomic looking patio table and chairs is by homecrest. They made absolutely iconic outdoor furniture. Literally everything they've done in that style is totally incredible.
For anyone trying to search the kitchen paint shade, it’s DeVol’s Kitchen: Mushroom. They only ship in the UK, but Etsy has a ton of matches in other paint brands. Gorgeous home!
Love her mix of mid century danish, traditional American, old primitive baskets and jugs and good, modern art. So good! Love it all! Thanks for another great tour!!
I LOVE this f**king home❣️❣️❣️ She has mixed traditional, modern, contemporary, and Scandi elements into the Victorian bones of this beautiful house to create a warm, serene, visually pleasing home. Thank you for sharing this one!
Wow! Great architecture and great style! I like that her decor is thrifted but feels clean, intentional and elevated. She has such a unique style. It’s inspiring to see something that’s so different.
I love that she kept the house as original as possible while preserving the real wood with its natural mid tone color, which haters must be realizing it is indeed nice and stylish to have.
I love the butler’s pantry, entryway, kitchen, sun porch, pink bedroom, attic, and outdoor space. A great house overall. I think the kitchen was my favorite. 🏡
I learn so much from your videos as well as being entertained. Your channel in is an invaluable wealth of how to style a home. I have been so lost as how to decorate each of my rooms. You have given me the guidance and courage to try and incorporate my own ideas. I'm inspired by you!
This is inspired and inspiring. It helps you get in touch with all that is wrong with current design efforts: too precise, too slick, too neutral, too statementy(not a word, but…), too stylized, too modern, too impersonal. And PS, I’m glad her use of pink worked for you, as I think it really works as a neutral.
its just very sparse idk if they have a basement but theres like no stuff. of course its probably got a good clean before the tour was made. i think of myself as a minimalist but seeing that some might dissagree theres so much stuff one needs coats bookshelves etc it just didnt look very lived in?
this is quite literally a dream come true !!! i've drooled over liv's home for years on ig and am soooo excited to see it featured here yayayayayay love this series
I love pretty much everything. The only thing I couldn’t live with is the tiny tv in the cabinet. I’d have to watch it standing up in order not to be too far from it and so my eyes are within the center line of the screen, which is the ideal position.
I’m glad you came back to the Chicago area for this tour! I’m biased bc I grew up in one, but I really do think that old Midwestern houses and apartments are just perfection, and they deserve more attention like this
Hardly ever drop comments around here. But, WOW. One of the most beautiful homes ive ever seen. Unparalled collection of vases. So tasteful, everything.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! OMG the fireplace in the Foyer is awesome....how homey is this!?!! Missed the bathroom..wondering if there was a claw foot tub?! My Fav!
Less is more. This place is fabulous. It has simple clean lines with pops of color and design, it is relaxing and inviting. Well put together. My fav is the guest room. I normally do not like pinks, but I would so do that and may in quest room at my house. Peace!
What a great house and she definitely did it justice with the furniture and overall design. That attic is FAAAAbulous! So fun! Do another one! Right now! Hurry! I need more.
That shelf across the window is so inspired and gorgeous! Love those silhouettes of the items on the shelf. If I had a home with more windows, I would totally do this. Thanks for sharing this!
10:40 I love the the idea of hiding a sensibly sized TV innocuously inside a nice cabinet, it reminds of the one my family used to keep ours in when I was growing up. So many living rooms nowadays have a huge monolithic screen that dominates the room whether it's on or off.
Exactly! It is so amazing and fun to see these cool and creative homes but from more everyday people (with more realistic budgets). So inspiring and delightful!! :)
Such a beautiful home! Paige I can't wait to see what home you decide to buy and hope you bring us all along as you style each room. Lovely to see you smiling and laughing - you didn't have a Wednesday Adams look about you at all in this video ❤ Looking forward to seeing the new product for your WAS store!

I LOVE THIS F**ing HOME!!!!! Paige, your videos have a very cinematic feel to them, LOVE IT!!!!
The turquoise sofas look like the sofa from the 1962 cardboard Barbie Dream House.
The salt dishes with tiny spoons are called "salt cellars."
Great lighting, rhythm and flow. Very cozy without looking cluttered.

Back in the old days, most salt shakers were also called 'salt cellars,' not just the ones with spoons

The bones of this home are clearly fantastic. And she did a wonderful job styling and cozy-ing it up. Love this series!!
love the feel of the kitchen. Makes you want to go in and cook a meal. She makes it look easy, the whole house decor thing.

I’m inspired! So thoughtfully decorated. I can’t wait to see it when Liv explores with paint and colour. Can you bring us back then, pretty please 🙏

This channel is so fvxking coooolllll. Not overly edited. Seamless and subtle and Paige is…. Just lovely….

Love these series! It’s also refreshing to hear things you genuinely like about others’ home
That attic needs to have Josephine March scribbling away to candlelight.
Yaaaasss!!! :D
Holy crap! I was drooling the whole time! This home is AMAZING
This is the best "f***ing" home you have ever shown. I LOVE it !! I have to say I am so impressed with this home. The styling is so sophisticated and professionally done while preserving a light fullness. Just gorgeous ❤

Love her mix of mid century danish, traditional American, old primitive baskets and jugs and good, modern art. So good! Love it all! Thanks for another great tour!!
Best house yet! You have to go back when she paints some walls.
My husband's family lives in downtown Elgin! I bought a few shirts from Able, the shop is just so good.
Refreshing space, not a lot of stuff but still full of character. Thanks Paige!!!
I will be screenshoting every still in this video for my pinterest boards. Obsessed.
Absolutely green with envy right now. This house is so gorgeous
A beautiful, lived in, not precious home! Love it.
Thankyou for these videos I love them. And a giant thankyou for not putting generic TH-cam music in the background. It drives me crazy.
Cheers.
A beautiful home. Her style is on point ! Very impressed
This is my favorite so far! I love the styling and the creative use of all the nooks throughout her home. Just gorgeous!
Stunning home, lots of cool ideas. Your outfit is pretty amazing as well.
Best f**king home yet! I loved every room
I loveeeee the pink guest room. I could spend all my time in there.

What a great home! It's so welcoming and beautiful.
Wow! Her home is so intentional and beautifully curated. I’m fortunate to be in Chicago so I am definitely going to check out the able shop.
This home is STUNNING, i feel very inspired! Thanks for featuring it

I love Liv’s taste! She’s brilliant with color and creating cohesion! Just beautiful and well decorated
This is hands down my favorite tour you've done. She has done such an incredible job with this house and the house itself is SO GOOD.
I’m glad you came back to the Chicago area for this tour! I’m biased bc I grew up in one, but I really do think that old Midwestern houses and apartments are just perfection, and they deserve more attention like this
I looooove the mix of like old antique and midcentury
I am so green with envy 😂 Such a beautiful place! Thanks for the tour!
this is just absolutely beautiful. The white walls and dark floors and bright accents and beautiful unique things everywhere. Mwah
This home is so beautiful. The way she decorated it is so good. This is my fav house so far.
What an amazing and inspiring home!
My Fav!
Beautiful house, great decor. Such imaginative use of vintage finds!
Less is more. This place is fabulous. It has simple clean lines with pops of color and design, it is relaxing and inviting. Well put together. My fav is the guest room. I normally do not like pinks, but I would so do that and may in quest room at my house. Peace!
Beautiful home beautifully decorated. My favorite home so far. I love that live is so unfussy. It comes across, cozy, inviting, and really lovely.❤
What a great house and she definitely did it justice with the furniture and overall design. That attic is FAAAAbulous! So fun! Do another one! Right now! Hurry! I need more.
Such a cool home..love it!🤍
How good is this house and everything in it, my goodness! Epic!
The house is amazing but my jaw dropped at that white attic room. Beautiful!
Ughhhhhhhh everything is so incredible. The house & the decor are superb. Thanks for sharing!
This f***ing house is insanely good!!
That shelf across the window is so inspired and gorgeous! Love those silhouettes of the items on the shelf. If I had a home with more windows, I would totally do this. Thanks for sharing this!

This is NaNa are my favorites so far but all so good! I love this series!!! Paige is the home design QUEEN!!!
Exactly! It is so amazing and fun to see these cool and creative homes but from more everyday people (with more realistic budgets). So inspiring and delightful!! :)
Loooove the small scale art over the beds
Lovely home. Thanks for the introduction to her store also. BUT, what are those boots you are wearing???? Love them
best home yet! love this one to the core
This house is perfect and amazing. That Wassily chair design is from 1925, so closer to the time the house was built than you’d think!
I really enjoyed this video. The pink room is my favorite.
beautiful place!
I love Able Shoppe!! So happy to see collab. Also, the initial sun room / outdoor dining area is killing me. So pretty
I love, love, love everything about this home and how it’s decorated! Thanks for featuring it on an episode of COTFH!
