Dave Navarro is the first person who came to mind. His story never fails to break my heart as his mom’s ex-boyfriend killed his mom and aunt and spent eight years on the run before being caught on America’s Most Wanted. I highly recommend the documentary, Mourning Son.

I’ve heard a lot about Jennette mcurdys tragic life and it was understandable that’d she’d wanna leave acting behind after her mom died because she no longer around to control her but the title of her memoir is quite questionable and unsettling
Not if you had a horrible mother. Destroying someone's childhood and eroding their belief in themselves is a lot worse than giving your book a title that some people might find "questionable and unsettling."
