関根選手は、オフセットスラローム後の270°ターン0:39の侵入時のバンク角が僅かに浅くて、その結果フルロックと同時に車体が一瞬起き上がったために、回転からの立ち上がりが膨らんでしまっています。
　それがフリーターンへの侵入ラインに響いてしまい、結果、フリーターンの出口が窮屈になってしまったために、脱出が遅れて、加速ラインも直線的になって、大8の字へのアプローチラインがタイトになってしまっています。
　大8の字の後はペースを取り戻して互角の走りを見せますが、この270°ターンでの、0.1秒程の乱れから始まった連鎖がゴールでは1秒の差に広がっています。モトジムカーナの奥深さがわかる対決だと思います。

関根選手は、この後数本タイムアタックをしましたが、前走車に追い付いてしまうなどあって、クリアラップが出せませんでしたが、もう1秒は削れる走りを見せていました。
