I appreciate this video. I used the same measurements as you and got the perfect stance I was looking for. I still need to adjust the dampening and maybe change preload, as mine is a bit bouncy, right now. But your video definitely helped my install go extremely smooth.

its a nice video. but these are trash. filled with vegetable oil. they were okay on my car to pass inspection. but with in 3k miles, they started to leak. also the upper bushings will make so much noise
@@Ehren1337 they we’re definitely the issue.they made so much top mount noise. Plus they do not last that long on our cars. I blew through the whole set. Switch to hks coils and haven’t heard that noise at all. Also, before I switched I lubed the top hat bushings with lithium grease and the noise went away.
Planning to daily drive my is300 . Hate the boat feeling . I just want something to hold me down for atleast a year or so till I get what I want . Do you recommend these? Or how are they holding up?
They are still holding up you would just need to do some adjusting on the preload to make it stiffer. Out of the box how we installed them they were a bit soft like stock but after some adjustment it was good
I didnt notice any adjusting on the front coilovers how you did the backs when you measured, do the fronts go lower bc i heard you mention they do but youd have to change preload, just got the same ones and im trying to see if where you had em adjusted to in the vid is maxed in front or if theres a lil more to go bc i wanna max them for my build
Thank you 🙏 these coilovers are super easy to change I don’t think anyone would have issues changing them out. Only thing that I noticed is they were soft. It took a little bit of driving to get them to feel normal and if you like them stiffer then stock you can adjust that on the spring as well. Other then that they have been good so far.

I bought these and at first I was really pissed off because they came with no instructions or any information on stock ride height so I just eyeballed it. Glad you showed how to measure though because I was thinking I would have to take it to a performance shop to have them adjust it. How are they working out for you? I bought them just because they were cheaper than OEM and I don't do any type of racing or anything so I just got these.

They were good. Only issue with them is they were noisy when it got cold. If this is what you can afford it’s a good choice until you can get something better. I have a set on a different car and those have had no issues for 2yrs so far
Good video, thanks 🎉 I plan to only lower my IS sportcross one inch and using 225/40/18. Do you think the fenders will need to be rolled. The wheels are 18x8 35+ front and 18x8.5 38+ rear
They have been pretty good, we did notice when it’s cold out they make noise going over speed bumps. I’m thinking it’s just lack of lubricant at the strut mount area . I just picked up another set for my 300zx and they ride really good as well

You could go lower if you compress the spring. Probably about an inch lower then what we had it at possibly more

Las tuercas de ariba son diferente no entran. Son la misma medida de lo largo. Y el tornillo de abajo Que va a las suspension es diferente medida
La suspension del gs300, ls400 y sc430 es igual de 98-05

looking at putting them on a '02 IS with 17s

I think you’ll be fine without rolling the fenders. We went lower then 1inch and it was good

Do not recall the tire size they were 18s but no longer have the wheels
