This is my my old site and I no longer have access to it. But, too clear up a few things I see in the comments, this is a thirty year old Jupiter 2, on its last voyage. What's left of the crew, is in the freezing tubes and the upper portion of the Robot has been mounted to the astrogator to run the ship. The blue things on the rear of the ship are solar panels, installed by the crew to power the ship while grounded, so the ship was flying forward. Kirk did use tractor beams to move the Jupiter 2 in behind the Enterprise, but released it, fearing stresses might tear the little ship apart when the Robot tried to flee. This was made some seven years ago when I was just beginning to experiment with 3D animation, so it's basically a bunch of short shots strung together. It is what it is. No apologies. Enjoy it or not, but thanks for watching it. Bill Balch
Screw these haters, I think you did a fine job. I'm no video artist or anything but I loved it. The colors changing from red in one universe to blue in the other,(when the Jupiter 2 went into the wormhole and came out), and I thought the detail on the Jupiter was also cool...shields over the windows, the power source at the bottom blinking properly..Great job!
Is Irving Allen the guy that used to do the exhaust for movies like earthquake and other stuff landslide entire Inferno yeah I'm wait a minute yeah it sounds familiar Lost in Space vs Star Trek and this is far out it's groovy man
Nicely done and a great tribute to both men 1959cwb. Ironically, Gene and Irwin knew each other well, but rarely spoke to others about the other mans work. Both Gene and Irwin were task masters and difficult to work under, according to all accounts. It is said (Majel spoke of this) that Gene had great admiration for Irwin's work, but felt Star Trek had to be done in a totally different way, to target a wider audience. Even so..it's interesting that both shows only survived 3 seasons.
I think you did a great job. I was born in 1957 and also grew up watching Lost in Space, and then a year later, we got Star Trek! Would love to have seen an actual crossover between the 2 shows, or to have seen the TARDIS materialize on the bridge of the Enterprise 1701 - D!
Bill Mumy told the story of when he appeared on Deep Space 9. On his final day of shooting after his character died in the arms of Dax one of the executives announced over the loudspeakers that Star Trek had finally killed Will Robinson.
Great job for effort. Congrats, just ignore all the rancid hate. If it isn't constructive then just pay it no mind. The capacity for people to be cruel and hateful knows no bounds. You have to start somewhere and in time you will build your craft to be even better.
Josie and the pussycats meet the archies. - Pool Party! - everybody passes the bong, and then its time for beer and margaritas! (why is veronica walking around in the buff)? - Chips. dips - chains whips! DANGER! - WILL ROBINSON, - DANGER!
Excellent intro!!!!!! I would 💘 to 👀 more!!!!!! How about a joined adventure!!!!!!! At the model sizes i think that the Jupiter2 could fit into the Enterprise's shuttlebay !!!!!!!!
Why does the Jupiter 2 have bay windows in both front and rear? I know it has them in front, both above the edge (for the control room) and below the edge (for the crew lounge), but I've never seen them in the back!
Last time I watched this A couple of years ago someone was griping that the Jupiter 2 could not fly backwards I still say that it can B9 / Robot is hooked up to the Central Flight Console And is using the Directional Navigation Sensors
Last in Space and Star Trap are my fovorite telvision shoes. I liked thems and the other one too, Star Was. This is the ones I'm liked better than the other ones like Buck Rodger and Battle Star Galaxtca or Dr What.
Interesting. Needs a script. Uhura should have been attempting contact. Kirk and Spock should have been commenting on the other ship. Kirk MIGHT even have ordered the other ship seized in a tractor beam for investigation, if for no other reason than to make sure there wasnt a problem. (Starfleet general orders; All starfleet vessels shall investigate and render assistance to any vessel, station, or planet not currently engaged in hostilities against Federation member worlds)
The robot hooked up into the astrogator, hmmmm.....pretty cool idea. They should have done that on the original show, then, they would have found their way to Alpha Centauri.
What would happen if they Enterprise took them to Alpha Centuari? Would they try and do the Sling shot effect to put them back in time? That would be cool. More likely help them back to their own time line with a Few Upgrades :). Pretty cool even though the J2 has 2 fronts ha.
Maybe your next micro-movie can feature an encounter between the Enterprise and Star Cruiser C57D from "Forbidden Planet" fame. Captain James T. West - Captain of the USS Artemus
Actually not a bad idea since the family was originally to be asleep for 98 years. Something could have went wrong leaving them asleep much longer and drifting and then found by the Enterprise. Could make for an interesting upcoming Star Trek plot.
You dont have to be a great digital media artist to want to express your love of a show as a fan ...If the people posting hat has a modicum of talent maybe they would spend some time creating which is a positive endeavor instead of tearing down and destroying .....I give you an A for effort , and share your love of these great shows
Assuming this is the original Star Trek and not the re-boot Star Trek Enterprise because we don't need another timeline skewed again, I know how this ends. The Robot crashes the ship into the planet and everyone is killed and the only thing left is pieces of the Robot. Dr Soongh finds pieces of the robot in the 23rd century and for the next 84 years takes pieces of the robot and adds some 24th century tech to it and makes Mr. Data. and the adventure continues or V-ger finds what's left of the Robot and fixes it to incorporate into it's programming.
"A" for effort. I'll give you that. Music pretty good. What program did you do this with? Pay no mind to those bashing it. It was no "Avatar" or anything like that, but I give you credit for at least trying & posting your work. Keep at it. Thank you.
very good, thumb up,keep your good work, if you can, do the same for me,look my elon musk and moon replay anomalies research and others, most sure there is many races ,some have strange forms ex. worms, serpents, insectoid and machines in many places in our sky, clouds, hubble, sun, earth, mars, moon pictures there is i think four kinds, terrestrial,extra-terrestrial,dimensional,inter-dimensional. and it seem there is anomalies of others planets, moon ,sun etc.. near earth that affect our planet and us,it look like they try to chemtrails and maybe use sky,sun simulator to hide and control the sky and maybe more. science-fiction for me is science of the unknown, Thanks & bye sorry for all the typo.
"Mr. Scott, fix those damn warp engines!! Mr. Sulu, pursuit course...GO!! Mr. Chekhov, lock photon torpedoes on that garbage and fire on my mark..........NOW!!! "WESSEL DESTROYED, CIPTIN!!"....Excellent!! We've earned our pay for the week!! Mr. Sulu, return to previous course....and Well Done Everyone....except you, Mr. Scott!! Fix those damn warp engines!!"
Wow, gotta get a petition together to put a stop from all of these "Star Trek vs, meets Lost In Space, Battle Star, Babylon5" rubbish. My god that close up of Kirk was downright scary, had to turn away. Get a girlfriend, wife, hooker, whatever, just get some and stop this madness.
I grew up with both of these shows!
Very cool... 2 of the GREATEST shows to air and you brought them together!! Thanks
Whether or not this video is good. I appreciate the effort you took in getting it done. Shows determination.

There was a movie Lost in Space, it was pretty good.
Too bad. Star Trek and them could not get together and make a movie. It would be awesome
Bonitos programas.
This looks like the Metaverse
Well done; I would love to see you take it to the next level. Good luck, and don't quit.
Never seen this before..
good work - lovely tribute to both
This was good! Bravo!
I'd rather see a Klingon Bird of Prey discover the Jupiter 2. Danger, danger, Will Robinson!!! 🤣😂🤣
actualy i have liked a lot of the things you;ve posted CW
I really enjoyed that! Thanks for posting.

Thanks. I enjoyed and appreciated your work.
The Jupiter II would easily fit in the Enterprise shuttle hanger

You might as well have the Tardis fly by.
Now THAT'S an idea!
I think you did a great job. I was born in 1957 and also
grew up watching Lost in Space, and then a year later,
we got Star Trek! Would love to have seen an actual

1701 - D!
It's really too bad that this couldn't open with The Floyd's Astronomy Domine! Now THAT would be epic!
Major West really needs to put down the bottle, he's flying in reverse the whole time!
Those were solar panels on the back, added to power ship functions while grounded. The ship was flying forward.
I think you did a great job.
relative size is off...the Jupiter 2 would comfortably fit inside the Enterprise's shuttle bay.
Great animation! Some people don't understand how much work goes into 7 min of 3-D video.
Bill Mumy told the story of when he appeared on Deep Space 9. On his final day of shooting after his character died in the arms of Dax one of the executives announced over the loudspeakers that Star Trek had finally killed Will Robinson.
Nice job however the Jupiter 2 does not have two main viewports only the only window in the front. The back of the ship is solid
Star Trek took place in the 23 century
Great job for effort. Congrats, just ignore all the rancid hate. If it isn't constructive then just pay it no mind. The capacity for people to be cruel and hateful knows no bounds. You have to start somewhere and in time you will build your craft to be even better.
Nice job just wish there dialog
I love it, please , please, please!!!!!!
The B9 robot is not part of the astrogator. Who came up with that one?
I liled it hope the next one comes soon.
Hold that order Mr Sulu....Scotty, beam the girls to my room. OK, Sulu - fire when ready. Spock you have the con.
Josie and the pussycats meet the archies. - Pool Party! - everybody passes the bong, and then its time for beer and margaritas! (why is veronica walking around in the buff)? - Chips. dips - chains whips! DANGER! - WILL ROBINSON, - DANGER!
Fun, Thanks.

Well apparently you listened to the trolls. What a shame. I would have liked to see what you would have come up with. Nice effort on this.
Last in Space and Star Trap are my fovorite telvision shoes. I liked thems and the other one too, Star Was. This is the ones I'm liked better than the other ones like Buck Rodger and Battle Star Galaxtca or Dr What.
Nice job 1959cwb
This is nine years later. Where's part 2?
bit long but cool
Interesting. Needs a script. Uhura should have been attempting contact. Kirk and Spock should have been commenting on the other ship. modeler308 This movie is pissing me off! It's Trumps fault. Impeach Donald "Egg Head Trump" NOW!
Modeler? Shut your fucking trap!
Tractor beam, opening communications, offering aid. None of that done. All Kirk did was follow it.
The robot hooked up into the astrogator, hmmmm.....pretty cool idea. They should have done that on the original show, then, they would have found their way to Alpha Centauri.
Wheres the transporter room on jupiter
What would happen if they Enterprise took them to Alpha Centuari? Would they try and do the Sling shot effect to put them back in time? That would be cool. More likely help them back to their own time line with a Few Upgrades :). Pretty cool even though the J2 has 2 fronts ha.
Well, it is rather a waste of time, but still, as a decades-long fan of both LIS & Trek, I applaud the effort put into it.
When will the First three of lost in space be on DVD?
Maybe your next micro-movie can feature an encounter between the Enterprise and Star Cruiser C57D from "Forbidden Planet" fame.
Captain James T. West - Captain of the USS Artemus
photon torpedoes fire!
Internet trolls are just jealous they can't create something as imaginative as this.
is this for the hearing impaired? since. when does the Jupiter 2 have two main view ports on the upper deck aft of the hull? just asking
Hello! Tractor beams?
where is the rest of it, it says part 1 but where is part 2?
it was good enough for what there was of it.
Actually not a bad idea since the family was originally to be asleep for 98 years. Something could have went wrong leaving them asleep much longer and drifting and then found by the Enterprise. Could make for an interesting upcoming Star Trek plot.
Well now the two finally meet their competiter
1:07 OMG! they've been flushed down the toilet!
To be continued? I'm still waiting for it to start
" this is Dr. Smith, he's always like this."
" You know Jim , I could give him a tranquilizer ".
I'm sure Gene would have put up with Irwin"s explosive control panels .
Wait that's in Future Star Trek.
Why couldn't both shows happen in the same universe?
How about a video where Lost In Space meets The Time Tunnel meets Land of the Giants meets Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea?
How about a Borg Cube versus the Death Star?
Photon torpedes Mr Sulu.

I would expect the J2 to be faster at Sublight.
I can see why it was cancelled. They hired the wrong writers. And the aliens you could even classify them as a B movie...
"A" for effort. I'll give you that. Music pretty good. What program did you do this with?
Pay no mind to those bashing it. It was no "Avatar" or anything like that, but I give you credit for at least trying & posting your work. Keep at it. Thank you.
why was the Jupiter flying backwards all time? I hope in part two we get some dialogue and some real action go
Are we going to see actors or just the animation sequence?
Why is Scotty wearing a harness like the ones the Thralls were wearing in "The Gamesters of Triskelion "???
The simulations of the *motions* of the ships, especially Enterprise, are excellent. I take it you never finished the story?
I never knew that the Enterprise could pivot in place that way.
I would rather be on the Jupiter 2 any day.
Not without Penny onboard.
Made me want a slushey
Well the music's okay
Decent renders but the lack of sound effects make this thing horrible.
Wow, can I please have those 6 minutes of my life back? (I didn't watch the whole thing). I'm sure it took some time to do that, but DAMN....
Not bad
very good, thumb up,keep your good work, if you can, do the same for me,look my elon musk and moon replay anomalies research and others, most sure there is many races ,some have strange forms ex. worms, serpents, insectoid and machines in many places in our sky, clouds, hubble, sun, earth, mars, moon pictures there is i think four kinds, terrestrial,extra-terrestrial,dimensional,inter-dimensional. and it seem there is anomalies of others planets, moon ,sun etc.. near earth that affect our planet and us,it look like they try to chemtrails and maybe use sky,sun simulator to hide and control the sky and maybe more. science-fiction for me is science of the unknown, Thanks & bye sorry for all the typo.
DULL,DULL,DULL,DULL
It's a seven minute tape! If you get four minutes in and nothing has happened yet, except credits and overblown music, it sucks!
mano a mano
It's not a tape at all. It's a video. Thanks for playing.
Scott!! Fix those damn warp engines!!"
very imaginative I used to watch both these shows but this is very different no dialog kinda sucks.
This done with Poser?
The date of this.. Is 2257 - so this Enterprise should be under the Captaincy of Christopher Pike. Spock might be about as a Science Officer.
Sorry it's not
Where's part 2?
It's believed to be hopelessly Lost In Space.
What is this?! You... Bubble headed ninny!!!
Wow you start with a toilet flushing, That the whole 7:00 minutes. I'll give it a number 2.
let me know when you post part 16. I want to waste a whole day of my life watching it.
When the matter in the Trekverse collides with the antimatter in the Lostverse, BOOM!!! Total annihilation. Not good.
What was wrong with their faces
That spinning was annoying....
Kudos to the artist for sure, the CGI was great. The story line... well it was def lacking. Aside from watching and admiring the CGI, it sucked.
Worms...yuck.
To be continued??? What the fuck for????
stupid idea.
