This was great! Wonderful soundtrack choices for each scene. Lost In Space could really work well as a CGI series -- they can keep all the retro design aspects, never have to age the kids, and the aliens can be more than a guy in a carpet or silver paint!!!
Love it! Personally, I could watch an entire series in this format. You especially had Don West down to a T. I liked how the dust kicked up after the Chariot stopped.
Phil, I just have to say that you are doing amazing work on these videos! I love LOST IN SPACE more than human words can allow me to express, and it is obvious that you do, too! I was 8 years old in the fall of 1965 when the show began appearing on CBS on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm, and now, I can't imagine life without the show! Thank you for all the effort you have put into these CGI episodes! I watch them almost every day!
Mr. hamilton are you responsible for all thse incredible CGI's??? You are a genius! I"m not that crazy of CGI's--but your s are tastefully, invenfully done--you also include the original voices and great original music . That shows me you have a sensitive care for the original TV series-- THAT is intelligence--and makes your cgi's fun to watch!!
Well done , I really enjoy your work , it brings suck a smile on my face to see and hear new vintage Lost in space episodes, I’m sure they take a lot of work to do, keep em coming and thank you for keeping the dream alive.
Ohh, so close. Best CGI LiS yet. Maybe in a few more years you won't be able to tell if its real or now. This version will make a very nice PS2 game. Please keep up the great work!
Actually, the idea of this video was completely surrounded by West "decking" Smith. Then I built the rest of the video around that. Thank you for the comment.
Excellent work! If this could be done somehow that it would be either a weekly series or something to that effect would be absolutely incredible! Job well done sir :-)
Very Impressive! though i am not entirely sold too much on computer animation, this touching tribute to "LOST IN SPACE" was well made, and done quite accurately! being a Die-Hard fan of this vintage TV series, this is seriously great treatment, esp. with the original John Williams music intact-keep up the great work!
You ARE my hero!!! To finally see Don just deck Smith was my dream for SOOO long!!! I also had this idea for a series of videos, “101 ways to kill Dr Smith”! (All those times Smith used Will as a human shield, the monster, or enemy just gently moves Will aside, then clobbers Smith)!! But mostly, it would be Don doing the deed!! Also, John should get a few kills, for all the times Smith put the kids in danger!!
This is totally great first time I seen this I would love this the whole series you can get this on DVD if anybody has any information out there please let me know
it was worth the few ninutes of my existence to watch. the faces were amusingly unsettling. sure id watch it again even though dr smith wasnt roughed up near enough. he had much much more comming
@angel55676 It's interesting you say this about the faces. I did try very hard - HOURS of work researching straight-on and profile shots of the actors from the TV show. But recently, I decided if I had to do it again or continue this in any form - I would likely use the faceroom in POSER with existing face texture maps- they will look better. All I need to do is have them "resemble" the character and I think it will be fine. My best faces are Don, Smith, and John. tks for the comments.
@bigbowser101 it took me awhile to realize that the majority of episodes from the second season of LIS were played strictly for laughs - the competition being Batman's phenomenal popularity during its first season..it's been stated that LIS 'lost its direction', this, imho, being the reason...
Pretty darn good! Although Don never would have slugged Dr. Smith. Threatened but never hit. Just wouldn't have happened. For all its faults Lost in Space had good values and a young man would not have beat up an older man. That is why no one can make a new Lost in Space...today's values (or lack thereof) would shine though. Lost in Space is part of a decent world that has sadly passed into history. Today foul and coarse are the best we can hope for in entertainment.
@hamiltonpl That(Dino tail slap) would have been great. I sent your work to a friend in London, he loved it and wants more! Is there more we can see? You did great. "Oh The Pain! The Pain!" LOL
@Shawnster65 i know i've heard, and seen, more than one thing as to LIS's demise (i think it was June Lockhart who said the show could have gone another season)..i do remember each of the 3 seasons being 'very different' from each other..in terms of NBC picking up Batman, maybe it's a good thing they didn't - i don't think Adam West has lived it down yet..haven't seen 'a whole lot' of Batman, but every time i see Adam West, this is were my mind goes...
@Shawnster65 one point i forgot to mention was the 'belief' that LIS could have gone for another season; but the proverbial handwriting was already on the wall..in the TV Guide of the time, there were four affiliates listed for LIS, and by the end of the second season, two had dropped it..there were only 24 eps,CBS pre-empted it more often (also pre-empted locally for two weeks (between a network pre-emption)..if they were trying to destroy the show during its third season, they succeeded...
@PiroozAzDirooz Well the Monster DINO was really careful - plus that would have been one more thing to animate. I wish now I had made his tail slap that tripod up in the air - landing on it's top with a puff of dirt!!
I used to watch Lost In Space when it was telecast and repeated every damn year during the early and mid 1970s until I saw Star Trek in colour at a friend's place in 1976. From then on I became a Trekkie.
Love that launch sequence. The Jupiter 2 sitting on the launch platform with a countdown clock and soldiers around it. I just thought of a weird idea. A ship like the Jupiter 2 is on a launch pad in Ekaterinburg centered in a certain cellar with the roof open of course. As the ship is about to take off Bolsheviks attack the control room and someone falls into a control panel causing the ship to be sent bad commands sending it off course.
how did Guy Williams and Jonathan Harris' vocals get added to this video, when they both passed on before this could made? Unless the dialogue from both was spliced from random dialogue uttered from previous episodes? The Robot's, too (cos Dick Tufeld is likewise no longer "available"? :(
@bradhig Look up the multi CD set - Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen and I think LALA Land label has a 40th anniversary Lost in Space CD set too. Good luck.
Wasnt there 2 times when the Robinsons were going to or threaten to leave Dr Smith on a planet while they left. One time in the first season "Attack of the Monster Plants". Second time in the third season "the Space Destructors".The first time I think they wanted him to think that they were going to leave him because he didnt pull Jon and Don out of the quicksand. The second time John was going to really leave him because he almost turned Will into a cyborg. But Smith conned him into not doing it.
Good points, but unfortunately this was the 1960s. Both, Voyage to the Bottom of The Sea & Lost in Space were "re-tuned" to appeal to kids, just like the Batman tv show. In season-1, Dr. Smith was actually dangerous and in Voyage a number plots involved espionage and corruption. Both shows had such good potential. What could have been! Of course, Star Trek came along & bucked the campy trend, which paid off years later. Saddening that the new Lost in Space movie flopped.
This were my favorite series when I was a kid thank you
This was great! Wonderful soundtrack choices for each scene. Lost In Space could really work well as a CGI series -- they can keep all the retro design aspects, never have to age the kids, and the aliens can be more than a guy in a carpet or silver paint!!!
Certainly. It was like a live-action cartoon.
such talent. I cannot believe that no one has reached out to you with a bucket full of money to produce a full length film
LOL out loud.
I tried but couldn't figure out how to send a bucket through the internet
enjoying this..x)
Thanks! I have a lot of passion for LOST IN SPACE.
I was 8 years old too in the fall of 1965. We have that in common too!! Thanks for you kind comments.
Love it! Personally, I could watch an entire series in this format. You especially had Don West down to a T. I liked how the dust kicked up after the Chariot stopped.
The best musical score ever to open a television show!
Finally Maj. West popped Dr.Smith. That was Great !!
I really like these little episodes you're doing, really fun! Especially when Don West popped Smith in the face.
Can we have a whole episode of just don beating smith?
Phil, I just have to say that you are doing amazing

I like the way the tripod set up stays intact and standing when teh dinosaur stumps right by it! LOL
Oh, I REALLY like this! This really feels like a season 4 episode! Very nicely done, especially the opening credits sequence!
Mr. hamilton are you responsible for all thse incredible CGI's??? You are a genius! I"m not that crazy of CGI's--but your s are tastefully, invenfully done--you also include the original voices and great original music . That shows me you have a sensitive care for the original TV series-- THAT is intelligence--and makes your cgi's fun to watch!!
WOW! This was truly amazing! Well done!
Well done , I really enjoy your work , it brings suck a smile on my face to see and hear new vintage Lost in space episodes, I’m sure they take a lot of work to do, keep em coming and thank you for keeping the dream alive.
Busted out laughing at the robot's reaction to Don's threat to punch Dr Smith in the nose......Just great!
That punch was priceless.
Ohh, so close. Best CGI LiS yet. Maybe in a few more years you won't be able to tell if its real or now. This version will make a very nice PS2 game. Please keep up the great work!

Can we have a whole episode of just don beating smith?
Extemely well done! Thanks...it is great to see some new episodes of LIS after all these years.
That was pretty doggone good! I don't know how I missed this on YT before.
Excellent work! If this could be done somehow that it would be either a weekly series or something to that effect would be absolutely incredible! Job well done sir :-)

Dear Hamilton: Simply fantastic!! Amazing serie. Great effects and sound!!
Wagner from São Paulo/Brazil.
3:38, i've been waiting over 40 years to see someone punch Dr Smith in the face. Now I'm satisfied.
ahhhhhh hahahaha Yes yes agreed
Can we have a whole episode of just don beating smith?
@@tomdumb6937 I'm ok with that, and I would watch every minute.
Love the opening credits!
@angel55676 The voices were from Season 1 episodes. I just had to string them together in such a way to tell a story.
You are a nicer man than I, Mr Hamilton! Just one punch? I was envisioning a whole series of attacks!
This is really good!
This is amazingly clever! Very well done!!!! Thanks for sharing!
This is totally great first time I seen this I would love this the whole series you can get this on DVD if anybody has any information out there please let me know

Nice Work!!
Great job! I feel like a kid again, I can't wait til next Wednesday at 7:30 for the next episode.
Nice! The only thing is, Will, is taller than, Penny. He was much shorter.
I created this episode COMPLETELY AROUND West decking Smith. tks for your comments.
Can we have a whole episode of just don beating smith?
It would ALWAYS crack me up when the Robot would laugh at Smith!!! Still does!
Yes it was. I started with that SCENE and then I made up the other stuff around it.
Excellent CGI.
This was really fun to watch!
Excellent opening credits!
@angel55676 It's interesting you say this about the faces. I did try very hard - HOURS of work researching straight-on and profile shots of the actors from the TV show. 3:35 priceless

THANKS LORD
Outstanding.
Bravo.............This is great.........
Wonderfully done and very entertaining

"Oh The Pain! The Pain!" LOL
Awesome! Thank you so much for this.
Nice job!
I thought these were created episodes, but all the voices are original so I guess you took it from the real show at animated it still good.
@Velocity9s No. It's not necessarily logical but that's the point it makes us wonder "what happened?".
Creepy faces! LOVE IT!!!
Transgender Marta
Fantastic stuff! This is brilliant!
Great work!
Same Music as the Original Show I Like it
That is GREAT!!!!!

That was fun. More please.
that was very cool...well done indeed
....Interesting, and rather well done!
excellent
@PiroozAzDirooz Well the Monster DINO was really careful - plus that would have been one more thing to animate. I wish now I had made his tail slap that tripod up in the air - landing on it's top with a puff of dirt!!
@hamiltonpl Could you string episodes together from SPACE CREATURE into The NOT so Great Vegetable Rebellion, so we see that it was only Wills dream
Great Stuff.... Enjoyed it.
Fantastic!
Please make more!
This is great!!

Hamilton! very cool, I love his animated version, I'm always seeing parabens,,, reminds me my childhood 70 years-fernando from brasil/petropolis

MORE!,MORE!!!!!
@3;35 ...this is for always wanting to take my son off on weird hikes, you ped !
Physical violence is deplorable, except when it’s hilarious!!
@bigbowser101 The only thing I could think of while watching this was "oh, the pain".
AWESOME!
Loved it.
how did Guy Williams and Jonathan Harris' vocals get added to this video, when they both passed on before this could made? Unless the dialogue from both was spliced from random dialogue uttered from previous episodes? The Robot's, too (cos Dick Tufeld is likewise no longer "available"? :(
All lines were lifted from previously aired episodes. tsk
@artax84z That's a good idea. But we might have everything after WAR OF THE ROBOTS a dream.
LOVE IT! MORE! MORE! MORE!
Good experiment
@bradhig Look up the multi CD set - Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen and I think LALA Land label has a 40th anniversary Lost in Space CD set too. Good luck.
...actually Lost In Space was on ABC which was channel 5...I watched the original series every Wednesday at 8pm est....

great stuff.love how hot maureen and penny look.
Wow Will is seriously pumped up. lol
The daughters look ugly!!! Judy was beautiful! What are you doing?!?!? Penny became beautiful! Phil you are some kind of genius. Can’t you redo this?
@mpsycho11 He's in the last shot - in the Space Pod...
At last, Maureen finally has a decent hairdo!
This has better animation than 'Food Fight'.
@fjccommish the pain of it all, thats funny as hell dude.
Awesome! Did you ever make the next part?
Give us more!
