that's exactly what i said in my previous message : with Mylène , you can enjoy or cry ; she does not refrain from laughing or crying on stage and if you keep reacting to her songs , it will be the same for you.....
This song "Dernier Sourire" was written by Mylène in 1988 for the death of her father, Max Gautier who died in 1986. It is the most difficult song to sing for Mylène because it evokes the last smile she had from his father when he was in a specific medical room for the end of life because he had an incurable disease. In this song, Mylène explains her feelings when she understands that her adored father has accepted his destiny and that he feels death approaching slowly and that he smiles tenderly at his adored daughter for the last time before his last breath...
Note that this song does not appear in its studio version on any Mylène album...

@@4lpn583 Ecrite en 88, son père est décédé en 86.....je n'ai aucune interprétation personnelle, puisque, contrairement à ce que tu dis, elle a déjà évoqué la signification de cette chanson et a bien signifié que c'était en hommage à son père... Et puis si tu es si malin, dis nous pour qui elle l'a écrite d'après ta propre interprétation (et toi ce sera vraiment une interprétation lol).... 🙄 Beaucoup feraient bien de se renseigner avant de donner leurs avis contraires sans savoir réellement! Bref, ce n'est pas pire que ceux qui pensent que cette chanson est dédiée à son frère.....ils sont tellement sots qu'ils ne savent même pas que cette chanson est plus ancienne que l'accident de son frère (96).....
