I got P0339 HONDA CKP SENSOR A CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT (too) on my 2008 4 cyl Honda Accord. ... My INNOVA OBD2 scanner also pulled a 10 second BATTERY Monitor scan test resulting in 11.84 VOLTS (at ECM vs 12.5v at my battery terminals) ... while saying: "BELOW ACCEPTABLE LIMITS". ... I believe my small 4 cylinder Napa battery has been reading marginally lower voltage for a couple years plus (& possibly the biggest source of my problem). I also believe some higher end batteries of same small size would retain higher voltage. My Choice now is: I am going up to the 24F larger size battery (spec 6 cylinder Accords) in AGM format as my best long term fix. I lost Engine torque when that code tripped. ... Erasing that code with my Innova scanner after study resulted in no more problems or codes returning (so far/ even though my 24F AGM battery order in progress makes that a near future project). I also intend to remove my Crank Shaft Sensor's plug and spay contact cleaner. ... My two cents as a past mechanic shop owner who still does all my own wrenching :+)
Usually sensor A would be the closes one to the front of the motor. But it's always smarter to replace both at the same time. One goes bad the other one is right behind it.
My 08 accord would pull up the crankshaft positioning sensor so I replaced that no fix then I changed all four spark plugs no fix,at the end all it was one coil pack that was putting my car in disarray. My vehicle would not pick up past 25 to 40mph at the best and would kind of jerk if I pressed the gas to fast...
Mine gives me a camshaft sensor code, and the symptoms i found were: vibration/shaking/rough idling when ac and headlights are on (only at low rpms... at higher rpms, the vibration disappears) and a noticeable power loss at the wheels when accelerating. The car was a honda accord euro (basically an acura tsx 2004) and it felt slower than my 2003 camry 2.4, when in reality the honda has the better engine, uses 95 premium fuel and has a more modern auto transmission. I will update you if it gets fixed
Thank you Bro for the location of the screws on the bracket. Finding that bottom one was like.... whew....
Thanks for getting straight to the point

I have a 2010 accord and I got a p0008 code engine position system performance bank 1 would it be the camshaft sensor ?
Thank you same position on my 2nd gen tsx. I was looking for them in the wrong places after I took off my motor and it threw me that sensor code.
Does this apply to the 05 Acura tl ?
Thanks so much for sharing!
How did you do it without removing the pipe first ? 🤔🤔🤔
Where's the egr valve located at in the in this vehicle
How would we know which is bad. My obd2 says
Camshaft sensors circuit A
Any help 🙏would be appreciated.

I have same problem with 07 Honda accord 3.0 v6
Can't find the sensor
which is a and which is b
Did you replace intake or exhaust?
Would they be in a similar location on 2010 Honda Pilot? Thanks.
No it won't as the Pilot has the v6 engine and that Accord has the 4 cylinder engine.
What type of problems was this vehicle having? What was it doing ?

Was it jerking at 3000 rpms or not going over?
