They did. A 42k loading fee is a bit too much. Most cargo runs you can only make about 30k a run and that's 30k profit if you manually load all the cargo
@@YoDaPro yes. I stopped doing cargo missions because of that. Surprisingly I have no issue with loading/auto loading with classic commodities trade, so I just do that. It eliminates the best buy/sell prices because i use only places with hangars, so you do not use the best profit routes and you pay the loading fee. I finally started to use the Hull C again, it is a more valuable choice now because for all other ships, 3.24 is a big nerf for cargo gameplay. But nothing has changed for the Hull C, there is no loading fee, and the loading/unloading time has been buffed from more than 5 minutes to just 1.50 minutes.
Long load times make sense if I can get an bot to auto fly my ship around and trade for me. Not so much if I’m doing it myself. Cargo will die at 40 minute loads. My personal limit is 10-15 minutes. Enough time to go to the kitchen and brew some tea. You’re dead if pirates show up anyway.
CIG has stated we will never have NPCs that can do everything for you. You won't be able to tell an NPC to fly your ship someplace and sell the cargo for you. This isn't X4 foundations.
It depends on the ship that you are wanting to use... The C2 is NOT a ship meant to be flown solo. So 40 minutes is fine if being alone I guess. If you are flying it with 3-4 people. You will be around 10 minutes max. I guess even a little faster since you can make chains and there is no need of walking with the big boxes. All one man ships are easily filled up solo. Even some multicrew ships like the Conni, Freelancer, C1, Starrunner etc. are quickly filled. What do you think about that? For me it is more than fine with the C2 being bad as a solo player, just like the Hull C-E will be / are too.
@@justin-time9630 look, I only have 2 hours to play max on weekdays. I have a caterpillar. I fly it solo and accept that I can’t get the most out of the ship without a crew. I’ll be auto loading. I don’t want to spend my entire session loading and unloading. I don’t think many people do.
Life is too short for this game play. Commodity trading is dead in 3.24. Everyone especially pirates will suffer when traders will instead do hauling with low value cargo…😂
You start the timer as soon as you buy the goods you have to include the entire process. Since auto load I’m assuming starts as soon as you buy the goods

This is absurd: where on earth loading and unloading at a facility costs more then the margin you get for the goods you trade?!? The whole worldwide commerce would be screwed.
