@@PurpleGermanShepherd13 Well, most of those examples are only depicting humans being mean to animals for the sake of it, or in the case of Scar, deliberatly choosing to do something evil to an otherwise harmonious animal kingdom wher none of the good lions ever eat meat on screen. None of them really depict animal predation as something natural and common, the point of Disney sugarcoating nature and animal behavior still stands.
The cat is probably stressed, some of them urinate in strange places intentionally to express that something is wrong. As much as bad exotic animal care is normalized, it can be strange to remember that people can be just as bad at caring for cats. My best guess is they don't change the litter often enough, or the fish tank is doing something that stresses the cat out. (proximity to the litter box or food, maybe? cats are prey animals in addition to being predators, so they can get anxious pretty quickly about odd things.)
My daughter's cat has recently started doing this because she has been working alot more hours as of late. Just the other day whike she was at work her cat took a poop right next to his litter box on the carpet! My first thought was that maybe she had forgotten to clean out his litter box, but nope it was sparkly clean with new fresh litter. I then realized he was doing it because he was pissed that she was gone to work. This cat is glued to her 24/7 so her being gone so much really stresses him out & he gets upset. He literally is just doing it to show that he's mad.
Sometimes a cat might pee in strange places due to a health condition. My cat Mittens got really sick when she was older (having to do with her feline leukemia) and she kept peeing on carpets since she couldn’t really control her peeing. She still peed in the litter box but she’d also pee on carpets if she wasn’t near the litter box. While she likely was stressed from not feeling well, she wasn’t peeing due to stress, she was peeing due to her sickness making her have trouble holding in her pee/making her pee more. Mittens ended up passing away from her sickness, the vet thinks she developed some kind of cancer as a result of her feline leukemia. She had fluid buildup in her lungs. There wasn’t anything we could have done to help her overcome that sickness, it was inevitable that it’d happen due to her being born with feline leukemia, but she managed to live for 9 years which is MUCH longer than initially expected! Also don’t worry, my other cat Divina was okay, Mittens couldn’t spread the sickness she had to Divina due to it likely being a kind of cancer and not a spreadable illness. Divina is actually sleeping on my leg right now, she’s in very good health. So it’s possible the cat is suffering from some health issue which is causing uncontrollable peeing. It might not be as severe as what Mittens had where there was no cure and they knew she was going to pass away, but it still should get checked out so it can be treated before it gets too bad.
I think it's because fishes aren't as noisy and expressive as say, a dog or cat, and so people take the lack of noise and facial expressions as lack of feelings.
It's pretty common for cats to pee in weird places if they're stressed. When we first rescued my kitten, my dog startled her when he came inside, and she walked over to my sweater that was drying from the wash and peed on it. It only happened that one time after we first got her and hasn't happened since.
My cousin had a beta fish in a "decent-sized" FISH BOWL (it wasn't tiny but it also wasn't huge). It had some rocks on the bottom and an aquatic plant with no filter and no heater. She's 6 so I understand that she doesn't know much about fish but I mentioned to my aunt that she should get a different tank that's bigger and has more things in it and she said that she doesn't have the money or space for a new tank (which I understand, but if you don't have space and money then just don't get a fish at all.) My cousin had it for about half a year last year before it died
Personally if I got one for fish I would put it in a bigger tank and put alot of plants in it (as an extra hiding spot) I would never buy it to just put a fish in it alone. Andif not that I 29uld turn it into a mini eco system (landscape) or just paint fake fish onto it
1:00 this cube thing with the leave hammock reminds me of the relaxation chamber from the beginning of Portal 1 Just that this thing doesn't have a portal that leads to the bigger area
When stressful things were happening in my house a few years ago naturally my cat also got stressed and she started peeing on stuff. I have also heard of cats doing their business where they know they shouldn’t when they’re mad or if their litter box is too dirty, of course a dirty litter box can also make them mad I wouldn’t blame them.
Yes my daughter's cat just started doing this recently because she has been working alot more hours as of late. That cat has been glued to my daughter's side since the day we got him so her being gone really stressed him out & pissed him off. He was quite literally pooping on the floor to show that he was mad😂

I actually have a local fish store and the betta are in their own 2 gallon habitats while on the shelf. This place really knows their stuff so kudos to them. As for some of these tanks, in my opinion some people just shouldn't own fish, or animals in general...

Soda, could you possibly do a video about the person who is doing playthroughs of Pokémon games using their fish? I’d love to see your opinions about it. There was an incident where the fish ended up closing out of the game, opening up the eShop, exposing the owner’s credit card number and then committing credit card fraud. As funny as it was, I would like to know if you have any insight about this. Do you think it’s cruel? Or harmless? I’m no fish expert so I can’t really say too much on if it’s okay or not. On that topic, perhaps you should make a video someday ranking every fish Pokémon! I think Chi-yu is my favorite right now, it’s a goldfish MADE OF FIRE! Regarding fish eating other fish in the tank, while most people get that treating animals like unfeeling machines lead to cruelty, I think this really showcases why treating animals like atropomorphic Disney characters ala Zootopia can be just as harmful. Animals aren't objects, but they aren't humans with human morality either.
My family had a few angelfish, and seeing one in the ball really makes my skin crawl. They grow big and need quite a big tank. And those are surely not species that can be kept with just any other fish. Just as well they probably should not be kept alone. Like, a pair would be an absolute minimum. We had 4 in that tank. They even started to breed, bud luckily the eggs would never last to hatching (it would be quite a problem for us).

unfortunately, cats sometimes will pee in weird places from stress or illness. when my sisters cat got really old she started peeing on their stove top and it went into the elements, it was disgusting and hard to clean. but she was old and her health was going down hill so there wasn't anything they could do to fix the behavior, eventually she ended up having to be put down. I think the cat in that post was just like, peeing on top of the lid of the tank and it was going inside it, not that the cat was trying to pee IN The tank, but on it.

i’ve said this to my family before , but if you want to get a cute decoration that included a fish tank , don’t put real fish in it. there’s many fake fish that swim in little tanks and then you can make the tank as unsafe for actual fish as you want for the sake of it looking nice ! it doesn’t even make sense to use fish as purely decoration in the first place imo. they are loving creatures and you wouldn’t just buy a dog or cat purely for decoration , so why buy a fish for that reason ?
I want a bunch of orb tanks to do aquatic plants I think that would be pretty. Not like that brand but that shape. I also think that is all it would be good for
My cat would get mad at me and literally stare me down and pee on my pillow. He literally only did it if he was mad I didn’t feel him right on time. 5 minutes late he literally would look me dead in the eyes and I would tell him “don’t you dare” and he would do it. Usually if your running at a cat it runs from you nope he literally kept peeing whall staring me down so I would put him on time out. He probably only ever did it a hand full of times but it was a breed thing very demanding. Still loved him. They never messed with my fish so that was nice.

Wow I have Oase surface skimmer, I didn't know they also make those um...not very good bowls, ech. Sad, and prices are horrible! You can buy huge tank for that price. When it comes to cat peeing in the fish tank, what? I mean, my cat used to drink from smaller shrimp tank when it didn't have lid on it but never done that, it wouldn't be impossible tho. But maybe it would be a better idea - if that is possible - to not let the cat to be in the room with fish tanks? It can end quite bad- yea my cat fell in the tank once, let's say it was traumatizing for her, for me and for my room. Now I am not allowing cats in my room mainly because of the fish tanks - plus I have no lid on 200 litre tank so that could end up very bad if cat would fell into that.
So I was watching someone they had a fish I think they died but they kept on touching it and the bowl did not look like a bowl and they did not ban bowls in the us
Very interesting...I do NOT have fish (just love nature an animals in general, that what brought me here) but I AM a plant person. Im very familiar with Biorbs but I never imagined it would be used for fish! I thought it was a plant thing for your finnicky plants or as a sort of terrarium. They aren't even ideal for plants! Don't put your fish in them!...I absolutely know people who have had some success with plants but that's a hell of a lot different than a sentient creature...
Some people think the world is like disney where every animal lives in harmony but in reality they don’t, including fish.
and also humans lol 💥🔫
Animals suffer and die in Disney movies too; Dumbo gets separated from his mother, Bambi's mother is shot by a hunter, Mufasa is killed by Scar, etc.
I know but some people still don’t accept the truth

Oh, yes, I love when people 'rescue' a betta from a tiny fish store cup, by putting them in a tiny glass object at home.

@@nerdieeditz8044 exactly! I tried to keep some babies alive but I was like "eh... nah too much work" and put them back in 😅 I don't need more goldfish even though I want more 😂
Wow I have Oase surface skimmer, I didn't know they also make those um...not very good bowls, ech.
Torture to watch, as today I was pricing replacement Biorb lights on Amazon- I didn't know! It was meant for a 4g shrimp tank! 😪
My little brother's betta fish tank is really bad he has a bug cage for the tank
The intro is so dramatic for reason 💀😂
Isopod
So true
7:09 $650 for literal garbage 💀
So I was watching someone they had a fish I think they died but they kept on touching it and the bowl did not look like a bowl and they did not ban bowls in the us
There dumb to do that to fish I mean it looks cool like those little jars with Mohsen all that but it’s not good for room and other things
Omg I love ur videos and you did teach me alot
Yesss!!! She’s back!!
And in the uk
Very interesting...I do NOT have fish (just love nature an animals in general, that what brought me here) but I AM a plant person. Im very familiar with Biorbs but I never imagined it would be used for fish! I thought it was a plant thing for your finnicky plants or as a sort of terrarium. They aren't even ideal for plants! Don't put your fish in them!...I absolutely know people who have had some success with plants but that's a hell of a lot different than a sentient creature...
Oh noo

I despise when people think if an animal is small or if an animal lives in the water, they don’t feel pain and are just objects. Disgusting
The fresh bird smell is such a mood. XD
