BassFishing what r u talking about. I was watching all of Scott's spinnerbait videos and he went in depth on both Colorado and willow leaf blades, colors, size, and where and when to use them. even the pole, line, and reel set up.
I use the Olympic blades now more than any other. The thump you get with the Olympic blade makes your spinnerbaits a better year round lure. I've caught bass in the dead of summer on my spinnerbaits when everyone says you got to be cranking deep or Carolina rigging. I do use multiple colors with white, bleeding shad and gizzard shad being the main three colors I throw. Blue/black is always on point here when it's rainy cloudy.
Well now i have someone else to follow from here in Australia , JW i have enjoyed the last couple of vids ,as i use spinnerbaits all the time here chasing Murray cod a native that grows up to and beyond 100lb ,it is always good to see different anglers way of using them ,cheers
For those fishing spinnerbaits in stained water and around cover, I suggest on Scott's channel his two videos he has on spinnerbait fishing. One with willow leaf blades and another one with colorado blades. However this is also an excellent video on burning spinnerbaits in open water (which allows trailer hooks) for smallmouth . This isn't the type water I fish spinnerbaits in but nonetheless, he does a great job of teaching this style.
The fish in the lake here seem to bite a white lure pretty well here but the water seems to stay fairly cloudy most of the year so I guess they can see the white better than the natural colors here

I personally don't like using trailer hooks.. Grabs up too many weeds. Don't really notice a hook up difference, either.. Also, if I notice the fish are swiping, or short striking; I'll switch to something more subtle.

I really like how he has a bunch of extra skirts for his spinnerbaits. That's a great idea. Instead of going out and buying a a ton of spinnerbaits in different colors, just buy a bunch of different color skirts to customyyoir bait the way you want it. Any chance we can get the brand of spinnerbaits and skirts in the video?
