    This disease is so heart breaking. Especially when you don’t have medical insurance and can’t afford one. Was diagnosed with IC from a Dr at planned parenthood. I was in denial and thought it could be a pundendal nerve issue. It’s been 2 months now of straight agony, so many tears and very very little sleep. It used to be the left side of my pelvis, not it migrated to the left side. It feels like my bladder is filled with battery acid yet I have no pain when I urinate or urgency. Just an extremely inflamed bladder, hypertonic pelvic floor and my abdominal muscles are in a constant contraction/clench. I truly feel for everyone that suffers with this disease. Remember to speak healing and positive words over your body, know there is hope and if you are blessed enough to have access to professionals- utilize the support!

    Raw garlic helps when my symptoms return. I take one or two cloves and chop it up into small bits that are easy to swallow. I tried using a garlic press but it smashed it up and it became too intense to swallow. It would instantly make me feel nauseous. So I went back to chopping it by hand. I put it in a shot glass, fill it with water and then take the shot. My symptoms usually go away within 30 minutes to an hour. Idk why it works but it does. 🤷‍♀️ Putting a heating pad or something similar on my lower abdomen helps as well. Feel better y’all! 💜

    I got mine under control by eating only non-inflammatory food (only go for raw, boiled or steamed) and also supplements that have anti-oxidant eg chlorophyll is best. I standby Ural sachet for when food accidentally triggers the flare because my condition is not that severe. Other food that are commonly known to trigger flares - vinegar, acidic food, caffein including chocolate, cold water, soda, spice, alcohol - as advised by my urogynaecologist.
    I came across a YT video saying kegel exercise helps to solve the problem of feeling the urge to urinate when bladder is not full. I have just started doing this exercise and so far it is improving my condition.

    I have had vulvodynia and IC for about 4 years. when my vagina starts to hurt i get foot pain at the same time. When I tell my doctors they act like it’s the weirdest thing they have ever heard and they have no clue why it could be happening. I’m going to try to change my diet and see if something could be triggering it but I know sex triggers it. It makes me sad because I want to be able to be sexually active in my relationship, I feel like I’m not being fair to my partner which makes me feel even worse… I usually take AZO and it makes me feel better short term but I know you aren’t supposed to take that long term..

    My story is a little lengthy at 43 I was perimenopausal met the man of my dreams had a year and a half of greatness then my OBGYN took me off my birth control pills from that point it became hell on Earth on so many levels, I ended up having surgery to have a hysterectomy because it was starting to prolapse plus I also had uterine fibroids at that point I thought that perhaps the surgery would relieve me of the vaginal pain that I was having to me it felt like a blowtorch was up there that's how bad the burning was as if someone took a book of matches and just let me on fire down there and I could not put it out it literally made me feel to the point on too many occasions to count of just wanting to commit suicide because the pain is so severe that it's literally making it to where I cannot walk around very well I just turned 49 in November 2022 after my surgery in 2020 come to find out they told me due to scar tissue from a C-section 29 years ago that it had cut a 7-in gash in my bladder when I looked at my scar for the first time it looked as if a 5 year old took a scaffold and just cut me up ☹️ I can deal with the scars but all the updates and wearing the Foley catheter on my leg for over 9 months going into 2021 after the surgery was healed guess what? That same pain returned I was put on vaginal estrogen and got relief with that at night but then as it started to melt the burning would start right back up again one doctor had told me it was lichen sclerosis, but then also said it could be painful bladder syndrome so of course this confused me even more and then the whole doctor's office conveniently just folded up like a tent and never returned! Here I am January 2nd 2023 with the worst pain I've ever experienced but thankfully a doctor's appointment with a Euro gynecologist to try to figure this out I'm saying to myself I hope it's not a prolapse because I already had a hysterectomy because of that! This would be a bladder prolapse if anyone else experiences any of this to the extremity that I have please share so I don't feel so alone, I'm sorry this took up so much but I had to explain it I have been to other surgeries and needless to say this daily chronic pain is debilitating mentally and physically to the point of just wanting to get out of here completely I say this because I can I am a person that wants to live my life but right now my life consists of being stuck in bed most of the time because when I do try to walk around and do things that have to be done it's debilitating to the fact that I am on SSDI and left with no answers and a whole lot of confusion God bless all of you out there and may we ask a higher power to give us the answers that we deserve take care and thank you XO

      Sweetie you need a good malpractice attorney for the injury to your bladder. When you see the Urogynocologist make sure she or he does a cystoscopy first. They need to look inside your bladder to make certain it is intercystial cystitis. Good luck

    Thank you for this video is very informative and encouraging I had about with vulvodinia year ago it went away after 4 weeks. . It has come back now a year later with a vengeance I'm in so much pain the burning is waking me up at night it can't even sit down I have to lay on the couch I've been off work for a month I'm worried I could lose my job I'm looking for any kind of positive feedback the gynecologist put an Etriel ring inside my vagina to help with estrogen production and help support bladder. I am having to try to explain this to male bosses...who really dont get I.. like that dont want the details.they just wasn't me back at work...dont know how long this will last or how long before I can fond away to deal with it and work. I drive a bus for a living sitting 9 hours a day...it hurts ti sit and hard ti stop a bus everytime you need to pee.. You end up holding your bladder until you can get to a Subway station to release yourself but holding your bladder gives you a bladder infection which is I think what brought on this whole vulva denia to begin with. I'd like to skip past all these steps and just remove the skin completely so I can stop suffering because by time I go through all these therapies in all these different options I'll end up losing my job

    The last thing she said about majority of people get better makes me so emotional ciz this pain has rlly been making me wanting to take my life this started 2 months ago and it can take a year to see specialists in canada and my dr says theres nothing she can do. Im currently looking for a new dr i wont take theres nothing i can do for an answer its just inhumane to let people suffer like this. Feels like theres a knife inside my vaginal area and its being twisted. I pray daily just saying god help me. My poor daughter sees me cryimg everyday ane says she wishes i was normal again i try not to let her see my pain but sometimes its so bad i roll in bed moaning and goaning wanting to scream. 😢

      Everest other than being in pain management. My surgeon/pain dr has allowed me to continue with pain management and use cannabis. Try just a small pinch of a gummy cannabis. In my state it is legal now if you get a card. Look up the IC diet. Inflammation foods and acidic drinks hurt so bad. Honestly I wish I had better answer but I don’t. Lyrics, pain meds, Myrebetrig, amitriptyline, pain meds! Best of luck to you! I have a very bad case if yours is not as bad as mine this might be overboard for some people. Also STRESS IS A BIG PROBLEM! Do what you can to stay away from stress because it will activate pain like no other. There is meds for “over active bladder”.

    • @versacegirl805
      @versacegirl805 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everest Also Benadryl helps because it is an anti histamine. Your urine has histamine and benedryl can knock down the pain.

      @@versacegirl805 It was was helpful on me & appreciated to hear this reply, as it's pretty severe so I have to resort to anything by this point.
      One type of med. I've heard of are antimuscarinics (oxybutynin to name one). It's said they can block some nerve signal. I am working on seeing a urologist next, as doing so shouldn't have been avoided by the general doctor.
      Those are some of my thoughts from what you've shared.

      Carnivore diet changed me life. Had an unnecessary surgery, tons of prescriptions. Now, eat animal products, all pain gone. Plants have oxalates, that form tiny glass like structures, & settle in places in the body. Vulva, fingers, feet, etc.
