Williams really showed his intelligence by responding to the hard foul, in my opinion. He was the one that got hit and was the one that got up and held the team back while smiling. Then scored our next 6 pts knowing the refs would be watching his defenders a little closer after the foul. Intelligence and determination, good for him!
He is just so refreshing in EVERYTHING HE SAYS and DOES. After years of listening to some arrogant ass (yes, he was this way win or lose) Coach Pope epitomizes everything it is to be a WILDCAT!
To have 7, 7(!) players in double figures, along with other games with at least 5, it shows you can't focus on doubling 1-2 guys to try to beat this UK team. They actually did shoot great, just not from 3. 59% overall, 81.8 from the line. I'll take that any time.
lol I can’t help but think pope is cleverly and subtly mocking Dan Hurley by giving the refs compliments, since Hurley has been in the news for being an insane person towards the refs and losing his team a game because of it. Pope over here probably buying the refs ice cream Then again, pope is probably too classy to do that and was just being nice. But it’s funnier to think he was trolling Hurley

UK basketball is very exciting this season!!!! Coach Pope is doing a fabulous job!!!! Such contrast between Pope and Cal!! I’m loving this!!
