      @@leoebanks699 yeah right! When your game plan is to all game foul the hell outta ppl going up for dunks and rebounds cause you can't block out. That team is crap.

      @@ericstevens8744 yeah let's go in and play dirty cause we can't block out or defend screen action so we're just gonna grab ppl Jersey and push them in the back when they go up for dunks. Helluva game plan!

      @@Bleedsblueevery team will play us this way now bc they see it gets us out of our rhythm. I think the players and coach will add some wrinkles. It's smart for opposing teams to muck it up.

      They have a good team. We'll coached, played with no fear, and came to compete. Hats off to those guys. Great game. Usually, these types of games don't give you much to take away. I thought their physicality was a great test in this part of the season.

    I remember and respect the Hayes brothers for the players they were, and Jonas is clearly going to be a star in the coaching ranks.

    We would’ve lost this game years past, GA State came to play their game and for 29 minutes they did. We just found a way to make their physical game our physical game to win and that’s our coach that did that. Coach Pope finds a way to get their minds right in-game and you could see the shift in the way we played after the flagrant.

    This might be my 2nd favorite coach in the game now, idk why he just has a great attitude and he wasnt going to sit up there ( I know it's what is " supposed" to happen) and bragg on kentucky the whole interview, he gave the cats their props but he talked his team up more than I've seen any other coach do in one of these

    Coach, you're a classy guy, but the play Peters made was as bad as I've seen in my 77 years.

  • @Bleedsblue
    @Bleedsblue วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Yeah! No, a guy lowering the shoulder into the post mans back as hes t 2:36 trying to catch a pass isn't a basketball play. And if that's what you coaching everyday in practice. Well then I don't expect Georgia st to do nothing. Your team is gonna be in foul trouble and issued alot of Technical fouls. Maybe the physicality of the game is the running and jumping and rebounding. You know normal post beating and banging. UK got physical but within the rules of the game and when they didn't the refs called the foul. All night St was pulling out cutters jerseys and literally pushing ppl in the back when the went up to dunk rebound and shoot. And not even half of that crap was called. I ain't gonna be nice about it. Georgia st is a trash team that has no fundamentals as far as defense or rebounding. Just a straight disrespect to the game. And if that's the type of ball being taught then your gonna suck all year!

    • @zackclark2265
      @zackclark2265 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I absolutely agree with you. People in the comments saying they played great and came to play. No they were trying to play dirty and show no competitive class. Absolute trash team!

    • @Bleedsblue
      @Bleedsblue วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @zackclark2265 yep. I was at the game and the refs didn't call nearly half the crap that went on. Yeah UK gotta away with a couple things but they were actual things that happen in a game. Like Butler charged a guy and sent him flying and they didn't call it. But that team was literally pushing Williams in the back when he went up for rebounds. And not even trying to hide it just blatantly pushing him in the back. Western was making physical basketball plays. That team was playing dirty cause they got no skill and I don't expect anything from those punk players this year

    • @zackclark2265
      @zackclark2265 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Bleedsblue looked what happened after that scuffle. They got exposed and got blown out because they were trash. That's all they are a bunch of punks that were lucky enough to play division one basketball. I don't see how Peter's even was playing he scored 0 points and had nothing to offer. It should've been a flagrant 2 for what he did absolute low life basketball is what they was playing.

    • @Bleedsblue
      @Bleedsblue วันที่ผ่านมา

      @zackclark2265 yeah they pissed oweh and Williams off and they started dunking every chance they got. When he did that reverse dunk it drained all the fight out of them
