Voyages of Marco Polo 1 and 2 are both incredible dice placement games if you haven't played them. Kingsburg as I see on the shelf is another solid dice placement game.
Have heard of Marco Polo but have not tried it yet and unfortunately Kingsburg has not been played yet. This comment might move it up to be played soon though !
My #1 dice worker placement is Encyclopedia. Bar none the standard for this mechanic in my opinion. The Magnificent is a close second but the theme isn't quite as spectacular.
