Awesome, raw, and beautiful performance, man, these two voices together is truly epic. ♥Always loved Greg, but Mark is simply incredible here, wish we could see them again together on stage. Deeply missed! Great guitar too!
If you're referring to Where Did You Sleep Last Night, well, you're not wrong, but you forgot about the most important part. Where Did You Sleep Last night is originally an American folk song, but the version we all know (Nirvana's), is originally Lanegan's. He wrote the notes. Kurt played the guitar on that record. It's from Lanegan's first album. I think it's called The Winding Sheet. Cheers. (:
I saw them at Leeds fest and it was absolutely amazing, I got into Lanegan via QOTSA and the music I have discovered since is phenomenal. Thanks for this vid, it rocks!
One of my favourites songs EVER along with ''Fragile Bones(Feels Like Home)'' by Ali Murray. The latter is musically completely different to this song but it's so sad and beautiful.
did the sam in the village venue in Dublin ireland, played two exat sane saongs back to back, where did u slepp was an excellent cover... shivers spine get that man a cigarette...
Terry Monse In this period his dark appearance and ditto voice was amazing. Sadly his voice fades like so many others. So glad to have seen many of his/ their shows.
i reckon both songs they do are great. i'd like to find a recording of where did you sleep last night, mind you nirvna's cover of it is also good. Screaming trees rock!!
I met Mark after a show thinking he'd bite my head off but he couldn't have been nicer. Just a friendly and gracious dude, the lack of hostility was almost jarring
these two cats singing together kicks out such a unique vibe. you have to listen, you can't help it.
