I listened to the ‘Weep’ audiobook cause I love his speaking voice almost as much as his singing voice. Just haunting hearing him describe a life that’s so delicate and also so painful at times that it’s hard to stop listening once you start.

So privileged I saw this lineup in the Enmore Theatre in Sydney in Jan 04. A far cry from home in Ireland, backpacking around Oz, with Songs For The Deaf as a companion, my god what a treat.
Realizing what a rare event this lineup of people was. Rip Lanegan. Pls live to be at least 110 Nick, Troy, Joey and Josh. Thank you Josh for bringing em all together. 2002 never really faded away.
studio version is great but this is on another level. Lanegan on lead vocals, Josh's unreal guitar tone and the bridge, and Joey's propulsive drumming just adds so much energy
