Rose is a terrible interviewer. He is CONSTANTLY interrupting his guests, he seems to be rushing them through.
Watch Ron Bennington for a skilled interviewer who lets his guests speak.

Horace and Pete was phenomenal. I've watched the whole thing several times. Louis' drama always strikes me like some of Woody Allen's more dramatic films (Husbands and Wives, Crimes and Misdemeanours) which is about the highest praise I could imagine.

I don’t see it. He’s ok, but has never ever made me laugh.never. I liked his show, though wouldn’t say it was amazing or anything. I think he’s very overrated, though he is definitely great at business and the business of comedy and selling shows, etc. I’ll give him that.

Gary Shandling was absolutely hilarious when he substituted for Carson in the 80s and had my vote to be permanent. I was in like 6th or 7th grade then and liked him way better than Johnny. He was offered but turned down Late Night when Letterman left. Watching Larry Sanders Show is on my bucket list.
