It's weird, because in his own book he says patterns can be worn together if they have a different scale, and here he is wearing a pinstripe suit and striped shirt of roughly the same scale
This video is 10 years old, a compete decade. You see that this video could be done today with those same suits, this is what we mean by "classic men's style being timeless" The same can not be said for female or "street" fashion.
To give Flusser a break IMHO it is not his tailoring which makes him less elegant, it is his overweight physique and unsuitably long disheveled hair . The other gentleman's suit seems ill fitting since it bunches up behind his neck unattractively . The interviewer is by far the most elegant and best dressed IMO .

I think the stripes on Flusser's shirt oppose the stripes on his jacket. I would have changed if I was appearing on TV- or in public,.
It's one of his signatures. There are many pictures of it.
It looks terrible!
If the object is to dress like Flusser I’ll pass. He doesn’t seem to take his own advice.
Flusser means fashion is historical, style is individual. Flusser better check his own suit jacket shoulders cause they're too wide.

That Brazilian guy on You Tube who likes to say he lived in Germany and sells knitted ties, socks, etc. evaluated Bonobos at bottom of the scale.
