What's funny is this is what Generations was suppose to be. Instead of two Sonics there were going to be three one representing the Adventure era with the Adventure style gameplay

I feel 3DS Generations handled Emerald Coast better, especially using Act 1's music for Classic Sonic and Act 2's for Modern.

Classic ideas: Lots of pathways and simple momentum based platforming, with some skips put in.
Dreamcast ideas: Some speed and automation with platforming and grind rails sprinkled in.
Modern ideas: QTE’s and quick and simple 2D sections, fast paced gameplay and reflex based challenges.

Man I've always felt like Sonic Generations was missing the Adventure gameplay in the game. I mean you had 3 eras. Why couldn't Sega just include an extra gameplay style (Adventure) as the 2nd act in the game whereas the boost had the 3rd act and Classic the first? I mean imagine what Green Hill Zone, Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary, Rooftop Run, & Planet Wisp could of been like with the Adventure style! We know how Speed Highway, City Escape, Seaside Hill, and Crisis City could've been in a way I guess?, but man... a man can dream! Lol
How awesome would it have also been if Jaleel White (or Martin Burke) reprised their role as Classic Sonic if they gave him a voice?, or even Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith voicing Sonic for their eras in the game?
I would have loved that as well.
Prob cause they can't handle physics anymore, it not something easy to notice but modern Sonics can't turn around with short hops which would make the gameplay feel too awkward

Eh I think gens great on its own, given that if this was in there (except adventure sonic would be awesome) the lack of Sega polish would really have killed the sonic franchise then and there
@@tabbywarrior at the time the games actually had polishment, and tbh Lost World also had in some degree, everything just went nuts after RoL
And it still a crime Adventure Sonic never got represented and is now represented by Modern Sonic which is completly different in design, character and gameplay

That classic Sonic stage had more effort and quality built into it than any stage in Forces
On sonic’s next anniversary they should make sonic generations 2 by the same creators as the first!

I feel like someone should make a sonic adventure mod with the phyics and movements and such implemented. Its problay better the trying not to boost and the fact that modern sonic is not good in open spaces
I’m just gonna be honest here and say that I feel like the inclusion of modern Sonic’s 2D segments in Generations as a whole really feel redundant when classic Sonic is RIGHT there
Haters' Guide to the 3 Emerald Coasts:
Classic: Why does the level end 2/3 of the way through?
Dreamcast: You're shorter than a Sonic Forces stage.
Modern: 0/10 Boost-to-win, hurr-da-durr...
As for my real thoughts: Modern Emerald Coast here was the best one. Dreamcast was indeed way too short, and Classic just seems to end abruptly.

Well this is sonic generations, so you could buy it from Sega xD. If you mean the mod creators, not sure if they still around, but if they are, perhaps they have patreon.
This stage bothers me, not for the reason you would think but because this stage is already IN the game on the 3DS. I was playing it when I was waiting in line once and someone asked me about what game I was playing, I told them it was Sonic Gen and he looked at his friend and said "Oh it's probably modded." this has stuck with me for some reason. so I must ask, does anyone other then me know about the stages Sonic Team put into the Handheld game? because they are all different and this is just me as far as I know, but if they ever port the game I would like to see ALL that content added to it so we can get console and Handheld Sonic stages and bosses in one.
