I remember seeing all those flams in the past and got intimidated but this is actually very approachable. Full tempo is a tall order but I do enjoy playing it slower and really refining the notes. Thanks for the video!
Apparently this chap, Suivan, was one of the drum techs for the Blue Coats and an outstanding one at that. Backyard BBQ or picnic and there was a stumble/fall involving queso. Not first hand, but from a reliable source.
Can you please do the Boston Crusaders 2024 sanre feature please? Not the one already uploaded on your channel, but the "other" one, the one with the triplet buzzes going into some rolls after, and has the "Glitch" rudiment in it. I don't have a name for it. Sorry 😅 Also, love the stuff. You helped me learn cheezy poofs a year back, and I thank you man!
Thanks for doing the DEFINITIVE lesson on this badass exercise!
My pleasure! enjoy
Actual life changing exercise right here, fix your flams, upstrokes, chops, everything

Here is a request! I used to love these exercises and was loving see Bluecoats bring them back to life! So what the hell is "Suvin"?
2015 Bloo Rolls would be a great one 🙏🏻
From what I heard, Suvin was their quad tech who wrote the quad part for this exercise (which was called queso), so who put his part in queso.
Yo you should do more bluecoats 2022!
Suvin Varghese
He taught the battery at Blue Devils "B" from 2014-2016 and Bluecoats from 2016-present
