Absolute need, and one more project add in my list before buying a 3D printer :) My chair is a Noble Chair not the same as your, but the idea is here, adapt it in function of model can't be a problem (I guess ^^) The PS3 controller motor give me a big smile on my face, because I'll probably use it like you do, so there will be a second life for them.
Glad you like it, I can't fit a simracing/gaming rig into my apartment so that's the next best thing I could think of. The ps3 motors do a surprisingly good job, ofx they're not very strong but still provides a noticeable feedback, and if you're looking into getting a 3d printer make sure to consider prusa mini, I've been using my mk2 for 2yrs and had barely any issues, their products are very beginner friendly
@@magikzizou sorry, no idea about this one, better to check a channel that makes reviews of printers and can compare with other models on the market, this one seems pretty OK but the one thing I would look at when buying a printer is auto bed leveling, that really makes your life easier
Yea, this is truly inspired engineering. I've currently been using PVC pipe shaped in a L shape to accomodate a mouse or joystick and was trying to think of a better way to go about adding things. I especially like the side mount as I could use this (modified) to tie into some 8020 to have a mouse and joystick setup. Incredible design in its simplicity and multi function use.
Great idea! What is urgendly needed is a cupholder. Especially when gaming in vr you need to know exactly where your bottle/can is.
no problem, what diameter do you need? :D
@@petermakesthings7342 I don't need that, it was just an idea for others.
@@petermakesthings7342 what makes it better I already have that chair!

@@petermakesthings7342 Ok I'll put this model in my short list selection. What do you think about the ALFAWISE U30 PRO model ?

what infill and quality did you use to print?
Awesome, what printer did you use?
This is fun!!!
It sure is, especially if you don't have space for a proper rig
@@petermakesthings7342 BTW, it's ingenious!
These look very good. Excellent work!
I dont have a 3d printer - how much and where would print some of these parts? (I live in the UK)

Thank you very much :)
