2016 Kia Sorento door handle replacement.

Replacing door handle on 2016 Kia Sorento. the smart unlock button stopped working. Very simple to do. Can be done in just a couple minutes. Door handle can be found on Ebay for approximately $40-$60 depending on what seller you find.

We were suprised that the passenger side went bad as well. Especially since for us, it only gets 10% the use of the driver's side gets. Very easy to do. One thing I'd say is make sure the rubber gasket under the handle is backing place correctly. Mine wasn't totally seated correctly from removing the old handle, and when tightening the screw back, the cover would tighten down and sit just a little off from the handle. I just pulled it off and made sure the gasket was clipped back into the door correctly and reattached the cover and all was well.

Do you need to reprogram it? Or does it start working right away when you replace it with the new one?

It just works. I didn't have to anything else.
