I remember listening to this song so many years ago! Was wondering what it was couldn't quite think of the name. I have now finally found you once again.
I am awake now. When I was about 14 years old, this song came out and I was obsessed with it. No one I knew in my age group was into this kind of music. So this was kind of a little secret gem I had found that I became totally enthralled with. In the beginning of Covid, I truly had my awakening. I had a great spiritual awakening. One night while meditating just a few nights ago this song came back to me in a vision. And I realized OMG this sounds like awakening music. I told myself OMG I need to look up the lyrics and go listen to this song now that I’m awakened and OMG! Everything I have been learning about the truth and everything going on in this life was confirmed coming back to this song. The tunnels and the children and taking back your soul part. No wonder I was so obsessed with this song at a young age because my soul already knew.
Remember when I first heard this. About 05’ or 06’, we were playing Tony Hawks American Wasteland. Never knew this whole time this song was about missing children or etc.. fast forward over a decade later and this phenomenon is STILL not talked about. STILL not “mainstream” or “normal”. Instead it’s not normal to talk about missing children.
I finally saw them live a few weeks ago. Just deeply powerful music. Not at all ashamed to say they brought tears to my eyes more than once that night.
this song always made me think of the invisible children of africa. always makes me want to make a difference after listening to this song. great song btw and their new cd major/minor is pretty awesome!
Hats off to the director of this video. I absolutely love all the Schindler's List references, and I really feel like they do a wonderful job of visualizing the tone of the whole album.
JanKulozik okay yeah I could see that. What I was referring to is a few shots that are actually directly from Schindler's List, like the kid hiding in the piano, and the one under the bed. Although in Schindler's List, the kid under the bed is killed, not just kidnapped.
I always felt it had a 1984 vibe too. See "All That's Left" for a similar vibe if different vid content. They're taking directly on with the source material by quoting Winston and Julia's mantra: "We are the dead".
I couldn't remember anything about this song except for the video. I was going through searching for possible bands and even said it might be Thrice but probably not. I hoped I saved it on a playlist on either Spotify or TH-cam and I did. I never save stuff to YT playlists so glad I did and checked the correct playlist.
Same here. I remember back in 2005 when it debuted on fuse. Haven’t heard it in almost 15 years and have been trying to figure it out since then. All I could remember was the video
For at least the last 2 months, anytime I hear about something that has troubled my spirit, this song has been resonating in my heart. This song and the song "My Deliverer is Coming" by Rich Mullins. The LORD is so good! Praying for REVIVAL!
i remember watching FUSE in the morning before school, i was in 8th grade at the them. miss these days

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is *the image of the invisible God* , the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
We are the named and we are known, we are the lost and we are found. We never will ever walk alone. We are more than carbon or chemicals. The message is in every line my brother.
2024 and this song slapping pretty hard.
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🤘🎶🐺

I haven't heard this song in over 5 years and then I just heard Skid Row " Youth gone wild" and something about the guitar riff and backing vocals reminded me of a thrice song, hence leading me here.
Watching this video makes me realize just how underrated Vheissu was. That album should've gone triple platinum.
We're more than carbon and chemicals
We are the image of the invisible
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We can't allow this, the quiet cull
We are the image of the invisible
So we sing out this, our canticle
We are the image of the invisible
We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone
We're more than static and dial tone
We are the image of the invisible
We're emblematic of the unknown
We are the image of the invisible
So raise the banner, bend back your bows
We are the image of the invisible
Remove the cancer, take back your souls
We are the image of the invisible
We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone
Though all the world may hate us, we are named
The shadow overtake us, we are known
We're more than carbon and chemicals
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We're more than carbon and chemicals
We are the image of the invisible
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We can't allow this, the quiet cull
We are the image of the invisible
So we sing out this, our canticle
We are the image of the invisible
We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone
Raise up the banner, bend back your bows
Remove the cancer, take back your souls.
Thank you
Please edit to break apart the verses from the choruses and the bridges. That wall of text hurts to look at.
oh wow...thank you ap for showing me this amazing band.
It's bands like these that make me miss limewire :(
Definitely an awesome song. If I was a MMA fighter, I'd use this as the song that gets played as I enter the ring. It's just that awesome.
I remember listening to this song so many years ago! Was wondering what it was couldn't quite think of the name. I have now finally found you once again.
Thank you. A fellow realist.
Song is badass, love the lyrics
Still jam this all the time.

One of the best bands ever to make music, and so under rated!!!!
Praise be to JESUS! I love all you guys, have a blessed and peaceful day.

Thrice 2015! Old time fav
Just got goosebumps
That's how you know it's a damn good song !!
Been looking for this song for like 10 years.
I saw these guys at vans warped tour in my high school days. been my favorite band ever since
Remember when I first heard this.

Goosebumps at the end EVERY time. I tear up too
OMG. It's just perfect
This song gave me the chills. Love it!
I've been listening to Thrice for 13 years now, and every time I listen to their songs, they resonate so deeply for me. I get goosebumps every time.
I finally saw them live a few weeks ago. Just deeply powerful music. Not at all ashamed to say they brought tears to my eyes more than once that night.
I was looking for it 2 weeks. Thank God I found it! :)
me too! What...a show. To end it with Anthology. Chills.
this song always made me think of the invisible children of africa. always makes me want to make a difference after listening to this song. great song btw and their new cd major/minor is pretty awesome!
Hats off to the director of this video. I absolutely love all the Schindler's List references, and I really feel like they do a wonderful job of visualizing the tone of the whole album.
I always associated it more with City of Lost Children
JanKulozik okay yeah I could see that. What I was referring to is a few shots that are actually directly from Schindler's List, like the kid hiding in the piano, and the one under the bed. Although in Schindler's List, the kid under the bed is killed, not just kidnapped.
I always felt it had a 1984 vibe too. See "All That's Left" for a similar vibe if different vid content. They're taking directly on with the source material by quoting Winston and Julia's mantra: "We are the dead".
Dave Benning if I recall correctly Gerard way helped with the costume design and shit

u gotta hear this one :) !!!
i love this song it is beast
The best band in the whole world!!!
Many years past I this heart this song ;)
I couldn't remember anything about this song except for the video. I was going through searching for possible bands and even said it might be Thrice but probably not. I hoped I saved it on a playlist on either Spotify or TH-cam and I did. I never save stuff to YT playlists so glad I did and checked the correct playlist.
Same here. I remember back in 2005 when it debuted on fuse. Haven’t heard it in almost 15 years and have been trying to figure it out since then. All I could remember was the video
forgot about thrice til i saw the Black Honey video. this song brings back memories
Still a fantastic song.
Best ever!
For at least the last 2 months, anytime I hear about something that has troubled my spirit, this song has been resonating in my heart. This song and the song "My Deliverer is Coming" by Rich Mullins. The LORD is so good! Praying for REVIVAL!
I swear Tony Hawk games have the best music
