First off. You don't have to explain shit to anyone. We / I am here because we love the content you do. Keep doing what you do best. I can't wait for more. Thanks
Jared is such a down to earth guy. I saw him at In-N-Out eating with his son and he took the time to say hello and spoke with me for a few minutes. I am glad your father in-law is doing better, he will be in our prayers too. Hope to see you again some time!
Great behind the scenes stuff. I also cracked up at the fact that you think that level of clutter is "clutter" If that's clutter we are complete slobs 😁. Lots of positive thoughts your way as far as Dad is concerned. Dealing with medical issues with my Mom as well so I can totally empathize. Safe travels!!!
Are you a black belt? Man those hands never quit 😂 joking aside, always my favorite channel. No drama just good content. Take care of family first, much respect !
Probably wouldn't be able to say a word if you tied his hands behind his back. 🤣 A good friend is the same way. And when he gets excited you should move back.
Hi Jared, A lovely video. Best wishes for your father-in-law! It was nice to see how you get things done (I wish I were that organized). Your videos are wonderful but I also think it's really nice that you keep your family life private and for yourselves. God bless!
Two things I’m thinking of just a few mins in. 1, no need to apologize if you are neat, others are not and that’s soooo ok. Be ok with you’re self brother. 2. You’re living in a “tiny house.” It’s no different than a yurt or a tiny house. As someone that lives in a larger house, I understand what kind of compromises you and your family must deal with. It’s all good man. Thank you for your honesty of what you are thinking. You have taught me a lot about the lifestyle. Super thankful for you all being exposed and open to the whole world. PLEASE keep creating the videos!
May God give your father-in-law strength, healing and comforting and guidance for the doctors for the best treatment. Also strength and comforting for you and your family. Amen! Enjoy your videos Jarrod! Thanks much!
Jared, seeing how you do what you do makes your content even more impressive! Not to mention, being let in on your family's heart to help family. Thanks so much for all you've done to help us RV'ers.
I can appreciate the appreciation of using the RV to help your family. Our daughter has cancer and we've been using ours to be closer to the hospital. ... and my wife hates being on camera. Keep em coming.
BTW: I changed from the kick in wheel chocks to the X-chock style, and I love them. Of course I use a cordless drill for all my jacks and stuff. I only use the kick in chocks as back up when on a noticeable hill. But for mostly level ground, the x-chocks rock! So FAST. I'm going to try your 2x4 stabilizers with ratchet strap sometime, you did a video awhile back. I have a 20' car hauler/converted cargo trailer. I'm sure the different type stabilizers work different for different trailers. Always enjoy you r videos! Cheers
Hope you’re father-in-law continues to get better! My mother-in-law died several years ago from cancer, we miss her everyday. Bless you and your family!
Always enjoy your videos. They are educational, practical and realistic. I appreciate the tidy space as well. My wife and I have nothing but respect for you and your family from the little we've seen. Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. What a blessing to be mobile, and able to live there but not be in their space! It seems like the more we age, the more of that we're facing as well. God bless you.
This is one of the many reasons I love your videos, Jared. You spoke from the heart about yourself, your family and the love you have for a life that is truly blessed. Much respect to you. Bless you and your family, and I wish you and yours the best.
It's pretty sad that people are so doubtful these days, and you have to explain yourself the way you did. Those people questioning you should be ashamed themselves good job at helping out your father-in-law👍
Always enjoy your videos. We never question why or what, we just enjoy. God Bless you and we WILL Pray for your father-in-law. Thank you for teaching us about RVing.
I have our 5th wheel stationary but our “city sewer drain” is 100+ feet away and no way we could use it where we sit. I use a macerator pump into a 55 gal blue barrel , sideways, I strapped to a cart and I haul it over and dump that every 2 weeks or so for our black tank. Not fun but you get use to it. It’s doable.
GREAT video, loved everything about it. Hope your family members will be getting better soon. 100% agree on having your own space when visiting family. The best for all parties.
Prayers and blessing 🙏🏼 to your father-in-law and the entire Gillis family from Corona California. You’re an incredible individual and your heart ♥️ is in the right place. Family first. God bless you all ✝️🙏🏼♥️⛺️
How nice that you could help out when your father-in-law needed you. Our trailer is only tidy between trips, when we're not using it. But I find your tidy videos entertaining anyway. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jared for this episode. I appreciate your being open and matter of fact about your dyslexia. It is what it is, right? I have ADD and a reading disability, too. I view these as gifts from above Like you, I am the MacGyver of my family. I loved how you thought outside the box and came up with a 100 ft solution for dumping the black tank. I know many of your viewers were touched by your frankness and you may have even helped a few. Will be praying for your in laws and your own family. Thanks for being so genuine.
I understand getting lost in words. It happens to me on my podcast. I try to be natural but the more I try, the more goofy it gets. I’ve learned to just go with it.
Totally agree with your last comment that RVing gives you amazing flexibility to visit/help friends and family in need. We’ve visited long time family friends we hadn’t seen in many years with the RV life. It’s awesome.
Prayer for your father- in- law! glad to hear he is doing better. No explanation needed Jerod, with us less is more as well, can't do clutter! always enjoy your videos!
Jared you dont owe anyone and explanation on how you live. I myself listen because of your technical information. Prayers to your father-in-law. Hope all goes well for your family.
We recently added a 50amp RV receptacle on the barn adjacent to where our 5th wheel parks -- totally expands upon the concept of "how you use it" when you can run everything! Glad to hear your family is doing well.
Yes there are channels out there that are entertaining and you see people where they’re going and what they’re doing. However, I think I have been watching your channel for about five years and I have learned a ton from you. what I have learned has been absolutely invaluable. Thanks so much and keep up the great content.
This video just makes us love your channel and what you do even more. Thank you for all the time and hard work you put into your videos. When we hit the road 4+ years ago, our plan was to do some type of content creation and we quickly found it just didn't fit our family, so we found another way to use our passion for RVing and helping/educating others. It too has made us appreciate the RV life even more. Wishing you all the best, and prayers for continued healing for your FIL.
I for one enjoy your channel because it is more about the technical side of RVing. While as you mentioned there are plenty of "travel" RV channels, I appreciate the detail you go into like on your solar upgrade. Prayers to your father-in-law and keep up the excellent channel.
Jared, you are doing a GREAT job - a job that needs to be done…and most of all, that is worth all of the time we are staying watching. Good luck to your father in law - radiation isn’t the nicest thing on heart! Keep it up! Remi
100% on the ability to go and help family and friends. It has been a blessing to be able to do this. One of the main things that I tell people about our full-time travels.
I really enjoyed this video. I appreciate that not everyone wants to be on camera. I’m an OCD person so I can really relate to you having a certain way you do things. It really does help to calm the mind! Hope your FIL continues to do well.
Love all your videos Your father-in-law’s in our prayers I’ve been there 32 treatments of radiation Having family around and helping out is one of the best things to recovery
Here's an idea for the shoes, it's basically a low hanging coat rack for shoes. I wish I could show a picture. Use a piece of wood about 1.5 -2" wide about 1/2' thick and as long as you want. I rounded the ends and used a router to round the edges. That just makes it pretty so you can do whatever design you want. Then get some wooden pegs, i believe then are called shaker pegs.. The shoes will hang from these like a coat so determine how far abart they should be, drill holes, and glue them in. One of my sons wears size 13, so I had to make them wide😁. Then paint or stain and attach to the wall about 16" from the ground. This keeps them neat, off the ground, and allows you to still sweep or vacuum. I made 2 for my house and this then it was one of the first upgrades i did in the RV.
Glad your FIL is doing better! I love that your channel is about the RV and not really about the travels. I like not having to wade through lots of travel content to get to the RV tips.
Trust me dude your rig is not messy! Chill out! You can get felt pads for your "desk" at any hardware store that you can stick on. I am stuck waiting for reversal surgery after getting a colostomy in May. Hoping to be able to head to Texas for the winter after surgery in Bozeman in November. Fingers crossed! Glad to hear you dad is doing well! It sux being sick.
Not stange to me. Our trailer looks like that too. I hate clutter, and I relate to the brain drain it causes. Sweet of you to do chores for family. Good health to all.❤ Love your content. Happy trails.
Thank you for sharing, there are lots of us living in our RVs for different family reasons and it’s good to hear other families stories. Sending good wishes to you and all your family from Canada.
We stay on a lot share by our rentals. Even though code enforcement keeps an eye on us, we’re able to use one of the rentals as our ‘house’ we ‘live’ in😄. Thanks for sharing ✌🏼
Thanks for helping with your father=in-law. It shows your quality character.
First off.
You don't have to explain shit to anyone.
We / I am here because we love the content you do.
Keep doing what you do best. I can't wait for more.

That is too kind of you. It was nice meeting you and hopefully our paths will cross again soon.
30-50 seconds in describes me to brother.
Your videos are always so great! Glad to know I’m not the only one to struggle with it.
Great behind the scenes stuff. I also cracked up at the fact that you think that level of clutter is "clutter" If that's clutter we are complete slobs 😁. Don’t know why exactly people are asking so many personal questions but am glad to see your helping out. So many aren’t so giving anymore.
Thank you!
You can be even more genuine and likable than usual?! Who knew? Thanks for sharing.
Great video, hope your father in law is doing well! Family first!
Ok yeah, that sand rail WAS pretty cool. Wishing good vibes for you and your family.
May God give your father-in-law strength, healing and comforting and guidance for the doctors for the best treatment. Also strength and comforting for you and your family. Amen! Enjoy your videos Jarrod! Thanks much!
Don’t apologize for your dyslexia; we all love you as you are! Keep the Faith!🙏
Thanks.

Mad respect for what Y'all are doing for your father in law. Duces...

I can appreciate the appreciation of using the RV to help your family. Our daughter has cancer and we've been using ours to be closer to the hospital. ... and my wife hates being on camera. Keep em coming.
Thanks! I’ll pray for your daughter, that’s hard to go through.
Jared my wife and I sure enjoy your videos. Thanks for always being you.
Everything about this video made me smile. 😃 Miss you all!!

Great job on this video. We all have our own quirks 👍👍
That is good news. It’s great that you are able to do what you do for your wife’s father.
Augh Cicadas🤪 they drove me crazy when I was staying in Arizona!
I'm so happy your father-in-law is doing so well.🙏🥰
Hope you’re father-in-law continues to get better! My mother-in-law died several years ago from cancer, we miss her everyday. Bless you and your family!

Very cool and simple desk setup. Very functional. Prayers for your father-in-law's recovery and your whole family.
My prayers are for your father -in-law for a speedy recovery!!!
Praying for your FiL and your family. Thanks for all you do for the RV community as well.
Helping family members is the right thing to do. I am sure that they appreciate all the help. You are showing your sons important life lessons also.
Thank you for being so open about your situation. I am sorry that strangers feel the need to have you explain your experience.
It's pretty sad that people are so doubtful these days, and you have to explain yourself the way you did.
Those people questioning you should be ashamed themselves good job at helping out your father-in-law👍
Thank you!
I think some of them were intended it to be a compliment saying how clean it looks.
Always enjoy your videos. We never question why or what, we just enjoy. God Bless you and we WILL Pray for your father-in-law. Thank you for teaching us about RVing.

I like most about your channel is that you are a real person with real family and you are so “well rounded”. Best wishes for your FIL.
Props to you and your family for taking care of your Father in Law. Love watching your videos, thanks for all your hard work!!
Amazing honesty and humility. You didn't need to do that but we appreciate it.
This one especially showed the human side of the channel and of RVing in general. Thank you for the insight!
Prayers for your family. Bless you all for stepping up. So often it's left to a single family member. ❤
You are a good man. Helping Family is always #1. Take care.
Glad they have someone to help out like you and keep those tidy videos coming.
Continue our prays for your family Jarred.
I have always found your videos to be very informative and well done. No drama or bs. Keep up the good work.
Great video! Your son's photo is excellent! So glad your father in law has made it through his treatments. I know firsthand how hard it can be.
May the Lord bless your father-in-law with health. God bless you for helping them out.
Thank you!
Part of the reason some might think you are using a green screen is your camera lens in wide mode...to break the effect just touch the stove?
