Michael van Gerwen reveals his INSANE bin day routine

- The William Hill World Darts Championship is on now at Alexandra Palace and the legends at the PDC kindly let me ask THE GREATEST DARTS PLAYER IN THE WORLD, Michael van Gerwen, about his bin day. They also filmed it for me which was a lovely touch.
If you're going to the World Championships you might see myself and @GOLFLIFECREW playing on stage, as the @officialpdc have invited us to go down and have a game. It's going to be horrific.

Maybe for some non dutchies. We right now have to separate compostable (grass, plants, food etc), paper, plastic, tin and remaining garbage. The remaining garbage has to go in an big underground container. Every town / city has special places and if your unlucky you have to walk some distance (next to your house or like 100m) to get there. And in my town the thing didn't work for some days and if you then just put the bag to the side you got fined (they litterly searched the bags to find who it was).And the catch is: you have a max 30L bag (8 gallon) and it costs you 1 euro. So if you can afford it MVG's private option is a very good option!

Were are you from in the netherlands? Because i live in the netherlands too and we only have to seperate compostable with the rest. Plastic and all the other stuff goes in the same bin and then once a week it gets picked up with a garbage truck and that's it.

Thanks Mikey. Long answer: Tubes (who I do a lot of filming with) got invited to the PDC press day. He said yes, and in his reply said as a joke "Can I have a darts lesson from Michael Van Gerwen while I'm there?"
The PDC replied and said "No problem, all sorted." Which we found funny because we expected them to laugh it off. Tubes asked me if I wanted to come and I said "Yeah, ask them if I can ask MVG about his bin day" and he did and they said yes.
Short answer: if you don't ask, you don't get. Also the people at the PDC are legends.

Everyday is a school day.
the Bin system is extremely advanced en sometimes complicated, lot of diffrence in every city how they do it but most of the time it's very advanced and in most city's were the garbage is collected in the street the Bin has been sunken into the ground

we have two different bin days in my town in the Netherlands Wednesday is unreachable material and Monday is recyclable material and i just need to put the bin outside at night EASY

That sounds good. Where I live in England we only take out 1 bin per week.
It’s annoying because they fill up so fast.
Two bin Collections! We get one every week, one for recycling one for general.

Dutch bin day is to much for me to handle their council need to sort it out.
I’m sickened by it to be honest. It’s out of control. Driving bin bags on car roofs. Chaos.
Robbie Knox have never done that to be honest, i’ve lived at two houses in my life and the only thing I have to do is to put out the specific bin on a specific day. Literally just have to ride it to the street.

You just have to make sure you have the right bin at street, when they come.
Thrash general - twice a month
Plastic - twice a month
Paper - once a month
And then 3 bins they dont pick up but we need to bring.
