My grandfather was a water Witcher, very talented. A wonderful early memory was learning the basics with both a forked branch and a split branch.

My very analytical, scientific grandfather taught me how to dowse with rods. :) He was a carpenter and house builder, and used the rods to find pipes in properties before working on them. I made a set out of metal coat-hangers which worked quite well. I used to dowse a lot with a gorgeous rutilated quartz pendant that I loved, but alas was stolen. I haven't done much since then, though have started to take it up a little more recently.

I don’t use my pendulum enough. My grandfather used to do dowsing for water. So happy to watch this video. Thank you.

One year we went to a town well know for hauntings. We stayed in the cabin of one of the haunted mansions.
We did the ghost tour that evening and I saw an orb as I stayed behind in one room for a moment as the rest moved into the other room (I even caught it on camera).
I then walked into the other room where they were using the dowsing rods. I didn’t say a word and just took my place in the circle. One woman was holding the rods and the guid said for her to ask if there is anyone they want to speak with. She did and both rods immediately and quickly both pointed directly at me.
Everyone gasped and the guide said hmm. He had never seen them do that before. Then and only then did I express what I had just seen and showed the pics. Oh and also only then did I tell the group I was staying in the cabin on the property that night.
The whole group freaked out. 😂
Nothing else really happened though after that.

I always pick my pendulums by which is calling to me. Most often, I'm not even looking for one. But one calls me and then I have to figure out which. Usually, it's just closing my eyes, holding up my hand and running my dominant hand just over them until I find it. They have ALWAYS had amazing strong energy that way, and I have never had to "tune it" to my energy.
I can tell which ones don't like me as well... both pendulums and crystals. A strong no usually means it should be my daughter's or husband's crystal, not mine. Theirs actually really do not like me.
Thank you for this video!! Sharing 😉

I always carry my obsidian pendulum in my pocket wherever i go.
I'm animistic and believe my crystal pendulum has a spirit inside her, i say her because she has a feminine energy, so i named her Mina, and she approves very much 🙂
    Great vid Ginny ✌️ ❤

Great video. My aunt told me that her grandfather (my great grandfather) was a water witch. She said she tried dowsing once and that it scared her when the rods started moving. Their family farm was in western Massachusetts and our family is of British descent.

I made 2 pendulums. My favorite I made from Stuff I found while exploring. It is accurate. Its a piece of leaded crystal with a piece of a broken silver necklace.

I have found that the pendulum chooses me. When I walk toward a display one will usually swing more than the others. Occasionally they all start swinging like crazy.

So excited to see a new video! Thank you for that explanation, that the pendulum is really just picking up your intuition. I bought a beautiful rose quartz pendulum but after a few tries got anxious because I didn't know what was speaking to me. Now that I know its most likely not a spirit I will start trying again!

Learning the ways of dowsing was my next witch project ❤ I bought a lovely rose quartz necklace from my local Ren Faire this summer and I am hoping to use it as a Pendulum. Do pendulums need to only have one "string" coming from it, or can my necklace work? If so, should I pinch both ends of the necklace together when holding it, or let it loop my middle finger and hang down? Thanks Ginny! ❤

I use pendants, and pinch the chain between my fingers. :)

Mostly by using it and learning its peccadilloes

I love pendulums too but I can move the pendulum by thought so I’m not sure I trust the results. I remember a friend and I once tried moving each others pendulum just by thought I won he he

Hi, Ginny. I have a couple of questions for you.
I can find things that are missing, or misplaced, without using anything... It's like I'm being pulled in the direction that, that certain thing is that I'm looking for. Ok, so my question would be how in the world is that possible? And is everyone capable of doing that? Or am I just strange? Lol thanks! Love your content!

    • @raniafowler4599

I have learned that your whole body can act as a pendulum, just as you've described. I've done it where I've held something and asked my question, and a yes is me swaying forward and a no is me standing still.

    • @mistylawrence6944
      @mistylawrence6944 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@raniafowler4599I don't trust that because my body tends to do that when I'm standing no matter what I'm doing anyway

I would say that you are plugging into the energy of whatever you are seeking and you feel its pull.... Brilliant this is a wonderful talent to have - you can direct this to human energy too and find those who are lost.
