I always dismissed snow tires because I got around fine without, or so I thought. I put snow tires on my F150 and it's a tank in the winter now. Completely different experience. I am amazed at how good modern snow tires are. Just don't drive on them in the summer, they're really soft and wear quickly.
Really going to be hard for Polaris to change the image they have right now. Where I am they are pretty much laughed at by other brand loyals. They arent nearly as bad as the rep they have but in this day and age pretty much gotta build a bullet proof zero issue machine.
Hi guys , I watch every episode of SnowTrax and DirtTrax , and you guys always talk safety first , buy I see you guys still do not attach the Tether cord to themselves when riding , I know you guys are on & off the sled a lot during filming , but it only takes once for something to happen to the sled and someone could get seriously injured. Thanks Wayne
Montana Cooke City Same thing but you haul your truck right into town and park it and ride around town on snowmobile. Staging areas are like right there from sled... unfortunately they are black right now due to terrible snow start.
@@snowtrax ya we cancelled our trip for February just to many reports 3 dead last week is what I heard... Gonna go Fernie instead!!! Hearing good safe zones and snow set better there.... Can wait
@@Fossillarson ohhh ya it's awesome would have gone these year but the vibe was off and half of are group couldn't make it work ... Heading to Fernie instead now... Cooke is awesome though...
Getting to and from riding areas safely is as important as snowmobiling safety, is it not? For those that lack knowledge of how well winter specific tires perform over all-season tires, I think Mr. Lester's explanation was on-point and very informative.
Shows been on the air for decades and has always followed the same format. Usually there's travel segment, a product feature in the shop and a test ride. Not every episode is going to be exactly what you want, but the following week might. If we aren't providing what you like on a regular basis, there's other channels out there for you.
@snowtrax alrighty then. I'll unsubscribe as you suggest. Guess constructive feedback isn't something you value. I didn't piss in your cheerios, just gave some feedback. You didn't even mention what type of sled you were driving for goodness sake. Years of watching your channel and it comes to this. Good luck in the future, hope you don't treat all your followers like this

great video guys, snowmobile shows have a tough go when the winters are bad.
Definitely had some challenges with weather this season. Thanks for your kind word.
Loved the Grizzly Lodge!!!
Arctic Cat scale up the 858 into an 858 CID per cylinder v -16 2 stroke for a tugboat with carbon fiber reed valves and 2 huge turbos!
That tab is adding up 😂

Looked forward to watching a snowmobile show and ended up watching a 10-minute tire commercial.

@@ijimmythekid6918 Appreciate that!
Is the St⭐️r from the late 90s "Sled Ed" still on the show?😄
You guys still working with IPONE?
Throws Hercules tyres would not be legal in Scandinavia during winter.. 😅
Brutal. Basically a very long commercial for a lodge and a tire company. Come on man, you guys can do better than this
