Still my favorite destiny soundtracks ever, Spire of the Watcher has a completely different sound than what we are used to, and incorporates some of the best leitmotifs too
I love how it's a combo of old western, with just echos of techno in it. Like it's supposed to be a cowboy dungeon, but the songs reminding you, hey man there's robots in these here parts....
Such a unique Destiny track, and the Western style in game hits especially well when the tumbleweed goes across and there is just one lone vex standing
That art combined with that shot is so well done. And what a superbly fresh blend you did with the audio, 6:18 especially was a treat! I’d be very interested to hear versions that utilize the percussion layers and maybe even High Action versions. ;)
@@Myrzir ahhh makes sense. I listened to the destiny OST uploads channel and I have to agree they were super drowned out. Question: Did you use a tool to artificially suppress the percussion tracks, or are they naturally multitrack?
@@fridgegaming1544 Although I do have tools for separating layers into stems, Most, if not ALL of D2's are already multitrack. Percussion is usually on it's own, & the rest are usually on 3 different layers.
@@fridgegaming1544 Sadly I'm not able to share the individual files for, y'know, legal reasons. But the Destiny Model Rips & Last City Radio discords are great places to learn how to rip the music for yourself.
Omitted until the last section, akin to delayed gratification. The lack of percussion brings it into line with the intro and tension areas. Creating a more personal, stripped back feel. Orchestration and melodies, laid bare.
@@Myrzir but I don’t like it laid bare >:( I like the percussion, it adds presences and personality, it’s one of the key parts of the Warmind and Vex Lit motifs which are present
@@jfk0-fish518 There's others who've uploaded the full tracks w/ percussion, this was just more for the sake of uniqueness. & to have the option of listening to the track without it if needed.

The opening to this dungeon's ost is unlike anything I've heard in destiny and I'm all for it!
It’s actually the gambit theme. Just showed down.

You know what to do…
Hey Myrzir, why did you unlist this? I really like this medley and I listen to it frequently. I was lucky to find it in my history still. :(
@@angilexx I frequently go through batches of videos to fix the tags, unlisting them first before doing so. It'll be back up now, don't worry.
My relief is immense and my day is saved @@Myrzir
Man, the lack of percussion for the beginning of the Persys fight theme is sick. That sort of hard push then draw back to silence is dope.

You know something, from the entrance it doesn't look like a spire/ tower...
It looks like a sword.
rasputin morphs all the warsats into a mecha, and uses the spire as a giant claymore
JOYUSE AHHHGHHHHHHHHHH
Thank you so much for this upload. This image may become my pc background
Cutscenes going forward are gonna be real funny with random cowboys in the mix
some part of it just sounds like a cross between a western, halo, and ps2-era ratchet and clank but i can't describe *where* that happens
I need me to find a way to solo this dungeon once and for all.
Awesome
Beatiful!
Pillory bunker
Sounds like Gambit.
Kinda, but there’s a lot of D1 & 2 Mars in this. And I love it.
The "Gambit" part you hear is the "Guns Blazin" motif
Hehe, yee haw music go *brrrr*
do these versions omit some percussion tracks
The percussion layers were drowning out everything else. Only included a light layer near the end.

@@Myrzir REAL?
I’ve been wanting the individual stems from Guns Blazin’ and The Man They Called Cayde but the dlc got sunset.

Is there anywhere that I could download the art here? It's so cool!

very nice, one question, where's the percussion in the second encounter segment
