This is no laughing matter. This is probably one of the greatest songs in the world. One of the most moving. It is impossible not to respect it to the note. Impossible to play with it. You can only interpret it. And this interpretation is simply perfect.

It’s hard for me to listen to some of these songs. They have such a profound emotional impact that sometimes I just can’t put myself through it. But if I’m already in despair these songs seem to pull me out of it. Absolutely baffling how that works out. Then there are the other posthumous albums which are also very much worth a visit which I would recommend Time Of No Reply to start with. He has become one of my favorite artists of all time up there with the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Tom Waits.
