    I THINK THAT NICKY IS MORE QUALIFIED THAN ANY OF US TO MAKE A COMMENT. HE IS A POLITICS GRADUATE AS WAS RICHIE!!......James is very well read and highlighted the plight of his parents when he was growing up. All are very well read.
    Witness their songs and lyrics; so those who criticise that they know nothing, make themselves look mildly comedic, and unqualified. I particularly like the way in which James explained how to look at things straightforwardly. Also the way in which Nick highlights the PEACEFUL ADVANTAGES OF EUROPE!!!
    These guys are excellent...........ACCEPT IT!!

    They don't say anything controversial, its all pretty level headed and almost anti-Europe at times and yet they're getting flak from Kippers

      They only want it to be easier to understand. The Government they were criticising was the Westminster Government. They sound like they would support Another Europe is Possible who are the left wing remainers but not Eurofanatics.

    • @lemsip207

      Maybe they are just said that it used to be an EEC or EC and after the Maastrict Treaty it became an EU with more powers and more involvement in national politics.

    I'm surprised there are so many on here that are still willing to vote for the same old same old.
    The reason I hear mainly that folk wont vote for a fringe party is that 'it's a wasted vote as they wont win'!!
    Doh! That's the only way to get change, and boy do we need that.
    My mates dad moans his ass off about Labour but still votes for them.
    Why? His anwer 'I've always voted Labour', wow, people like that shouldn't get a vote.
    Not one of us has had a say on the EU gravy train.

      Do you know how much tax is earned off the Bankers Bonus's - granted its unjust, but capping there bonus aint going to solve anything it just means the gov gets less tax as they will just skim money off elsewhere and move to the states - sometimes the solutions are not so black and white - good luck.

      IF we do leave the EU then the inevitable free trade deal will mean we will have to abide by ALL European law. Which will make fracking illegal and we will have to sort out our air pollution, which is currently the worst in Europe by far. It may also help us avoid TTIP and save our NHS. So it's not all bad, it may actually be the wisest move. And I wont tell you which way I voted. You'll only ignore the politics and call me racist. (See what I did there?!)

    The Eu will still be around even when the UK votes to leave.
    The UK being so north of the equator & cold & wet mostly all year round needs to have a lower population, a self sufficient land, & not expecting the world to give a country it's goods in return for 'manufactured' currency called the £.
    Hitler is long dead, & in a globalised internet connected world the UK will be fine on its own.
    The definition of GDP is crazy when you consider the definition of Recession too together- it creates a basket case government spending currency on anything to offset the trade deficit.
    This country doesn't earn currency through trade, it relies on government 'bonds' swaps for currency with the BOE & other pyramid scheme central banks for it to pay over paid civil servants to spend money to stabilise & offset the trade deficit.
    It's not that complicated.
    No one really runs business's anymore. The UK is a granny state, the solely relies on central bank Casio credit (£currency) & freemason manipulation in economic data & accounting.
    The economics is so complicated & complex there is no world orditor of the books so it's easy to fraud the world.
    Near zero rates is a clue to my statement if you don't believe me.
    The UK is doomed to have a recession again, why? Because restructuring & free-market pressures will always prevail.
    A gold standard was a standard of morals accounting between humans. A debt based system is only ok under a one world order. That isn't here yet.
    The UK has huge problems.
    I hope I will be ok.

      There were the Troubles in Northern Ireland going on right until 1997 and that stabilised under John Major and brought to an end by Tony Blair and the Good Friday Agreement. But Jeremy Corbyn and Mo Mowlam had done a lot of work behind the scenes even when in opposition. Thatcher only inflamed the situation in Northern Ireland in the 80's.

  • @Lexthebarbarian
    @Lexthebarbarian 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There is something narcissistic with artists that considers themselves sophisticated and intellectual, like their opinions matter. Both of this guys talks very shallowly and pubertal. "Indie" artists are one of the most conformist and bourgeoisie people you can find, they all say the same things, just like court jesters in the medieval. They don't want to upset the boss and the masshuman society. Manic are a great band, but hallow and extremely boring and unintelligent when it comes to deeper questions concerning society.
    Kind of like bullies in the schoolyard, they see themselves are "superior" and a little bit more"thoughtful and better" then the common man. Being an artist is not the same as being an intellectual.
    Great entertainers yes, but when it comes to politics? Like teenage punks with mohawks who thinks they know everything.

    • @conor5510
      @conor5510 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You clearly know fuck all about the manics. Manics have always been a politically sophisticated band from their very inception with both Nicky and Richey being polities graduates. If you tolerate this is about the Spanish civil war for crying out loud. You don’t have a clue mate.

    • @markfablesmurphy
      @markfablesmurphy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Have you ever listened to their lyrics. Most of their songs are fiercely, often brutally political. Why would they sing about that stuff and then not talk about it?

    • @lemsip207
      @lemsip207 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Nicky has a degree in politics so he has the right to speak out just like any other politics graduate. James grew up in the same street where Neil Kinnock had his constituency home. He became Labour leader when James was 14. These two are now both over 50 so are no longer teenage punks. You think they are shallow narcissists because you are projecting yourselves onto them.

    • @Ballardian
      @Ballardian ปีที่แล้ว

      You obviously disagree with the notion that any music can be both entertaing but also political. The Manics have always had sociopolitical commentary in their lyrics, including some of their biggest hits (eg. A Design for Life). So since you're not even a fan: what the fuck are you even doing here?

    • @KindnessIsKing1000
      @KindnessIsKing1000 22 วันที่ผ่านมา
