    By now they are old, so even I bought one. Not because it has 'executive appeal", I just needed a family car with gasoline engine and automatic gearbox (due to health issues I no longer can drive manual). So, it was either Audi, Volvo or Toyota, from what I could get, ended up with A6. Almost go a more reasonable Toyota, but there were issues with arranging a meeting with seller, his loss, I'd say.

      Good choice. I got a P3 V70. While its a good car, the C6 seems better platform.

      @@kamata93 Well, that depends. I guess AUDI feels nicer, but costs of repairs and maintenance... 😆 Toyota would be much more reasonable choice.I just got into this without knowing, really. Before I had Golf III, that's also VAG, so how bad that could be, right?! In 2 years I've spent around 5k Euros on repairs and maintenance (oil changes, filters, tyres etc), however, the lions share of those were timing chain change and the consequences of previous owners neglecting it - changed spark plugs and transmission fluid, I had to do even suspension alignment, as one of the wheels showed clear signs of not being properly adjusted.

    Great explanation again Johnathan as usual.
    The best reviewer IMO.
    The old R/S 5 is still my dream car.
    Thanks,
    Lance.

    I got a 3.2 fsi manual v6 quattro from 2005 and its an absolute beast lol not much cars that keep up specially from that age.

      Sorry, no hate, but that 3.2 is slow af by today's standards. Even the entry level 2.0 from the current gen is faster.

    • @AcrozeRs
      @AcrozeRs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BoredToDeath182 0-100 in 6 sec, top speed 278 on navigation isnt Slow af, my brother has a gti from 2020 and im faster. You cant compare a 3.2 fsi vs a New gen 2.0 with a turbo.

    • @AcrozeRs
      @AcrozeRs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      And specially not a car from 8k euro's vs a 30k car

    • @BoredToDeath182
      @BoredToDeath182 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AcrozeRs Well, you basically started the comparison by saying not many cars keep up. And 0-100 is 6.9, while the current 2.0 is 6.0. One second faster is a lot.

    • @AcrozeRs
      @AcrozeRs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BoredToDeath182 yeah stock. Your comparing a 30k vs a 8k car while you can drive 300 kph with the right tires with a 3.2. 2.0 with a turbo wont do shit after 270/280 (tuned). We got many cars here feel free to facetime me i can show you the difference 🙂 there is no car that has the same performance as this car for the money you pay. Someone that can drive properly is faster in this car then in almost any car that you can compare it with.

      If you are buying this car for its tuning potential, I believe you should check with reality first

    Why these stamps? Eco-garbage-proppaganda

    • @TotalRookie_LV
      @TotalRookie_LV ปีที่แล้ว

      Even my A6, 2.4l natural aspiration engine, consuming ~12,2 litres of E95 gasoline per 100km on average (around 19MPG) has German sticker indicating it's the highest (cleanest) tier 4 emissions, allowing it to drive into city center. So there is no "propaganda" and emissions limits are easy to meet on these cars, while being nowhere near low on fuel consumption.
