    Were it not for the high prices and even higher repair costs I’d have two of them. One of my favourite cars of all time, perfect time for both simplicity and complexity in a car; great sounding 3.0TDI which any C6 owner will recognise immediately, a stunningly smooth driving experience - as a passenger you feel like you’re gliding a couple of inches above the ground… excellent automatic gearbox and a great range. Had one in my family bought new, drove us like a champ for 350-360k km, sadly at the end (ca. 2020) the repair costs weren’t really worth it. God do I miss it.

    Mine is a C6 Allroad, air suspension with 17” rims…really enjoy making secondary roads in comfort mode…or using Allroad/lift mode to run trails to reach waterfalls or other beautiful landscapes.

    Lovely comfortable and practical cars. I swear the doors are 3 feet thick on this generation, they feel so solid. My father in law has a 59 reg 2.0TDI with 270k miles on the clock which is still going down the road and passing MoT's. He's had to put in a reconditioned turbo and replace oil pump during his ownership but still it's amazing really

    I have 2006 2.7 and i love it. It was around 4k$ but i imagine that that is because you guys drive on the wrong side so market for them is smaller

    I remember thinking that's risky buying a car like that soo cheap but turned out to be one hell of a bargain

      Yeah, don't get me wrong, I've had to put a bit of money in to him, but nothing excessive especially given the age and mileage. Mostly just maintenance stuff as opposed to expensive repairs. Thanks for watching.

    I have the 3.0 TDI Le Mans Quattro 2009 which has 120k miles and it drives so nice and pulls well in sport, the Quattro drive system pulls it round the corners really well and is great for rapid cross country trips or long motorway journeys.

      I also have a LeMans 3.0 tdi quattro 2008 saloon. I bought it last year with 190k on the clock (pretty sure mostly motorway miles due to the excellent condition of the interior ie seats have virtually no signs of wear and the fact that the previous owner was a company director) and I've absolutely loved it from day one and still do . Surprisingly quick for such a big car too and fantastic on motorways. This was my first Audi and if this car is anything to go by it certainly won't be my last

    I suspect the reason you don't like the Multitronic CVT is that you simply don't understand how it works, compared to a torque converter fuel wasting conventional Tiptronic slush box auto the Multitronic is a huge improvement, took my 2.7tdi to Kent and back yesterday, 480 miles, it returned 47.7mpg

    • @CarObsession
      @CarObsession  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there, I understand how a CVT works, but thank you for the comment. I will confess, I don't think I've tried the Multitronic CVT, but I've driven a few cars with CVTs and I'm not a fan. Thanks for watching.
