Most therapists will not tell what it is or do not know where to look to solve the problem....! They just want to treat whatever to keep there bill running. I am sorry to say that ... but it is common in the whole health"care" system.

We are sorry to hear that that has been your experience with physical therapists. Although the system is not perfect, at our physical therapy clinics we strive to get to the root of the problem in order to get you back to doing whatever it is that you want to do.

@@EWphysicaltherapyandwellness Will you tell to the person you are treating what the root cause is …. and how to improve .

@@furiousdoe7779 Absolutely. Although many times the root cause can be multi-factorial and complicated, there is no point in continuing to treat someone if you don't know what the root cause is or if there is no plan to continue to improve that patient's quality of life.

I have Sciatica neuropathy. Pain, numbness, heat and tingling in both feet. it's worse when i sit down and 100 times worse when I lay down and I haven't slept in over 2 years.

Is is possible for a person to have both sciatica and neuropathy?

Is it possible to have both? According to your explanation I have neuropathy and sciatica.
The only time I get some relief is when in bed and not moving. The moment I move, pain starts, but, it will go away in few minutes if I stay put. I've seen many specialists, had many tests, MRI's, and X rays done,
including the nerve conductivity study, and no one has a clue as to what is going on. This is USA for God's sake, country with the most advanced healthcare system...not some 3rd world crap hole. It is so disappointing. None of my doctors took ownership of this. They just keep sending me to more doctors, more follow ups, and sending bills to Medicare.

Did you ever find out what’s going on?

No. I've gone full circle with doctors. PCP, Sports medicine, Spine doctor, neurologist, cardiologist, hematologist, oncologist, orthopedist, urologist, dermatologist, rheumatologist. @@aileenrodriguez-v4r
