Hi I own the SBS variant and wanted to chime in While it does use AR grips out of the box, you can simply remove the pistol grip adaptor, and use normal AK spec pistol grips like a regular AK. Im using a Magpul AK grip on mine, if you choose to use AR pistol grips you have to get ones without beaver tails or chop it off. Whatever the case you'll probably swap it anyway because A2 grips suck lol On 9kg green gas I'm getting 320fps on normal, not that 280 fps, that might be measured on duster gas. While you can get around 350 on normal 12kg green gas. Again this may also vary on temperature those are what get I at 25-30C in indoor CQB The buffer tube adaptor is a matter of preference if you like modern looks or not, i personally like using buffer tube stocks so it was one of the reasons I got the SBS variant, swapped it for a magpul stock and im happily dominating my local CQB field with a side mounted rail for a red dot Ultimately it's the same gun internally, but you get the bonus of full auto out of the box instead of modding it. The only real difference is the furniture it comes with (buffer tube adaptor, pistol grip, handguard with attachable top and side rails etc), the barrel length. The only real noteworthy difference is since the barrel is shorter, the gas block is also shorter/closer so you can't use standard AK/Saiga furniture without modding, you'll have to get SBS specific ones, mod regular ones, or 3d print Edit: spelling and autocorrect lol
Thanks for the info! Regarding the power, it does seem to be substantially affected by temperature- while we see about 1.1J on the 12K with propane at 20C, that climbs up to about 1.4J at 30C. Since the gun seems to hold up fine at that temperature, using higher-power gas at lower temperatures should be okay to boost the power and felt recoil a bit.
These replies are so timely. Have both the 12K and the SBS in the cart and debating which to buy. I heard the SBS uses more plastics than the 12K (e.g. trigger guard areas) so is the 12K better for clumsy folks banging into obstacles. Looking for the more durable option and thought SBS has more metal use. Also, presume 12K accuracy is better than SBS given longer barrel but is it significantly different?
@@jhzfn the trigger guard isn't plastic, as far as I can tell, the only real difference between K and SBS is obviously the barrel length and furniture it comes with and the SBS has full auto without needing to mod. Obv barrel length will affect power levels depending on your temps The real issue is that the handguard and gas block are shorter so you'll be hard pressed to find aftermarket handguards without modding or 3d printing. I just got a 3d printed mlok handguard for mine. I've seen some other SBS users mod normal AK handguards to fit the SBS which involved a decent amount of Dremel work and drilling lol Imo if you like a modern look and do a lot of cqb the SBS is a decent choice, plus the default handguard can use rails out of the box, and you can play with the buffer tube stocks. Both the SBS and K use the same internal upgrade parts anyway The only difference you'll have is the handguard compatibility, barrel length furniture, and full auto out of the box, internally they're practically identical

I had my First game day with my Saiga yesterday. I already knew it was a fun gun, but it it still surpassed expectations. The long mags didn't arrive on time, so i was stuck with just the short one that csme in the box. It was a extreme cqb field with 1-2 minute lives, so it wasn't too detrimental. Not my preferred type of game, but still fun. I just kept a bottle of gas and a few pistol mag speeloaders on my belt. Apart from a nee pistolgrip and a piece of rubber in the rear spring to help with absorbing the bolt carrier impact, I didn't change anything. The length was surprisingly manageable, even for someone who isn't used to handling anything but pistols in tight quaters. I was probably the one guy capable of sending most plastic downrange at a time. There where only semi locked AEGs, hi capas and a few pump shottys among the others. One electric semi shotgun, but it was noticeably less snappy and had a bad delay when pulling the trigger. I am so looking forward to the next few weeks when the mags arrive and i can go play at my regular site with longer distances.
Alright so for anyone looking for mag storage options the Haley Strategic D3CR-X Heavy will hold them. It takes a bit of finagling to get the mags in, and I put them in right side up (unfortunately this is the best method despite it exposing your feed lips and output valve and all that to dirt, as well as being a bit more annoying to load) so that you can slide them in, one end at a time, and you also kinda have to jimmy it down sideways too, if that makes sense. Basically put the front in, then work one corner of the back in and slide the other corner down and it will fit. It's super tight but after leaving them in the chest rig for a few weeks it has slightly loosened up so it isn't difficult to do when loading the rig up, but might be harder if you to to reindex the mags mid-fight. A dump pouch will definitely be necessary.

is there any chance to make a review about the best v3 vfc gbbr system ? I was thinking about the bcm whether should I get it or not. I would love to see a v3 vfc gbbr system ranking. Thank you
I’d like to see a video on the MGCR 5.56 from G&G. Just recently got it and I’ve had one game out of it so I haven’t had much time to have an opinion on it, but I’d like someone who knows what they’re doing take a look at it and see if there’s any way to make it better. Or if there’s an HPA conversion possible.
At this point every indication is that it is identical in materials and design to the M16A1, with the obvious exceptions of the burst mechanism and the external differences between the A1 and A2. We may do some content on the ergonomic differences between the two rifles (tl;dr most people will find an A1 more comfortable), but at present we don't feel it would be valuable to do a third review on VFC ARs that would largely restate what's already been covered.
I am yealous… My Saiga worked 2 weeks. Original feeding nozzle broke. Had to switch to the CNC version, original nozzle is no where available in this universe. Now I have serious feeding issues. After 10 shots one BB sticks in the middle of the feeding nozzle and blocks everything 🤷♂️
I have a Saiga-12K with the airtac HPA adapter. My Saiga hardly hopup 0,25g. I tried 0,32g, 0,30g and 0,28g too, but 0,25g has best straight trajectory. IMHO even 0,25g are fly too slow. And it does not matter if I have 80psi or 120psi set on my regulator. Have anybody same issue?
Yes. My nozzle (triple nozzle) broke after the 2nd game (also had the adapter from airtac). I replaced it with a Cnc nozzle from Pro-arms and had low power and feeding problems like you. (Maybe because of the feedlips from airtac) I then replaced it with the new nozzle from tapp and a new Hpa adapter also from tapp. In addition, I got Pts epm1 mags. Because they could keep up with the Saiga.
Had to lower the height of the router. Because otherwise he pulled the O-ring from the nozzle and built up too much pressure on it. After the revisions of the router. where I could ensure the frictionless function. The saiga works wonderfully again. I hope I could be of some help. Greetings from Germany.
10:28 fk me that's hot. 11:02 fk me that's hotter. I would've gone with this if TM released it before the AKM but I'm plenty happy with the AKM as it's no slouch. Speaking of, I can't remember if I or others have asked before but why haven't you reviewed the TM AKM/X?
Mine simply put just doesn’t work. It fails to reset the trigger sometimes and then on top of that I installed a new outer barrel and messed up my three inner barrel during the process now they shoot all crazy and inaccurate and then the icing on the cake is sometimes it only loads two or even one bb at a time and the other bbs roll out the end of the barrel. I’m so tired of this gun not working I almost just want to sell it and get a new one but that’s so much work. But is it more work then trying to keep fixing my broken one?
TM dominated the market in the 90's/early 2000's, one of the few brands making AEGs and pistol Gbbs with the good quality control but poor quality external parts for most of their products ... Nowadays it's still some overpriced piece of junk ABS/Potmetal, with somewhat "ok" internals at best for AEGs and some EBBS, abysmal GBBR products.
"Abysmally low standards of airsoft guns." Most accurate statement I have ever heard about airsoft guns (and parts and accessories.)
Every time I watch any airsoft videos I lie to myself that I have enough and don't need another. But this Saiga is making me unsure...

Talking about the difference between TM and VFC mainly
Hey yo sorry weird question to ask but does those universal magazines holders hold vfc fal mags well?
Could you do a video about the we tech svd i really wanna hear what you have to say about it
is there any chance to make a review about the best v3 vfc gbbr system ? I was thinking about the bcm whether should I get it or not. I would love to see a v3 vfc gbbr system ranking. Thank you
What is the best way to get the absolute tightest grouping on the Saiga?
I’d like to see a video on the MGCR 5.56 from G&G. Just recently got it and I’ve had one game out of it so I haven’t had much time to have an opinion on it, but I’d like someone who knows what they’re doing take a look at it and see if there’s any way to make it better. Or if there’s an HPA conversion possible.
Hey dudes. Do you have any KJW GBBRs in your collection? If so, a comparison video would be pretty cool.
C&C tac apparently make an aluminum nozzle setup. have heard good things
Is it worth it?
Are you going to make a video on the T-191 by E&L?
Any thougs about the ra-tech rifles? i thinking about to buy an GHK Ra-Tech geissele mk16.
your saiga look gorgeous, we feel that your use of it was pleasant :D May I ask where do you get your kobra, maybe a reference ?
If you have a link for the handguard polymer you use I m interested too :D
Hell yeah
Are you guys planning to review the VFC M16A2?
At this point every indication is that it is identical in materials and design to the M16A1, with the obvious exceptions of the burst mechanism and the external differences between the A1 and A2. We may do some content on the ergonomic differences between the two rifles (tl;dr most people will find an A1 more comfortable), but at present we don't feel it would be valuable to do a third review on VFC ARs that would largely restate what's already been covered.
@@ExplosiveEnterprises oh okay thanks for the answer but are you planning to do a video on how VFC made the burst mechanism work?
It's an exact copy of the real burst FCG functionally @@carlosjorge3888
I am yealous… My Saiga worked 2 weeks. Original feeding nozzle broke. Had to switch to the CNC version, original nozzle is no where available in this universe. Now I have serious feeding issues. After 10 shots one BB sticks in the middle of the feeding nozzle and blocks everything 🤷♂️
Same. Try the nozzle from Tapp. Came on the market a few weeks ago.
What nozzle did u buy?
Do you have any plans to review the Tokyo Marui AKM?
It's on our list of guns we would like to review, and we have secured access to one. No guarantees on when that'll be.
@@ExplosiveEnterpriseshow about the Well Pro PPK20
@@ExplosiveEnterprises Will you review a Tokyo Marui MWS? I think it would be very interesting considering your background with VT.
how is that shortened barel called/ where can I find it?
Is that a EKP-1S-03 Kobra?
How has it been a year already ?????
Luckly there is TM Saiga sbs for all that full auto cqb goodness
Aug hbar, diemaco lsw or 249 saw as favorite lmg?
Do you own a Tokyo Marui MWS?
(Maybe because of the feedlips from airtac)
I then replaced it with the new nozzle from tapp and a new Hpa adapter also from tapp.
The gun is good
North East famas?
So AEG it is.
Wooooooooooooo
was clicking on this video thinking 2 myself since when did japan have a market for fireamrs LOL
Hello

Ohh boy you're about to rustle some jimmies with this one.
