Man I pray that this team wins the champions league, most balanced city team Pep has had. Thats what was missing for the past 5 years, amazing at attack average at defense, this is the year Pep has focused on both attack and defense, such a amazing and well built team.

Yanno I actually think their 2021 side with Cancelo at left back, Laporte and Dias at CB and Walker at right back was the most balanced defense they ever had… but they didn’t have Haaland.
So maybe you’re right 😂 Would be looking at an all timer if we see this team win the champions league 👀

PEP'S City know how to handle pressure, that's why they won the two great title challenges against Liverpool, and how they overtook Arsenal, despite Arsenal being top for well over 200 days.
Also, why they done what no team in history has ever done by winning the domestic treble. League, FA Cup and League Cup.
And this season they finally won the Champions League, despite them being the best team in Europe for a few years, they just couldn't get over that last hurdle. Getting to the final in 2020, they really should have beaten Chelsea, and last year i don't know how they lost to Madrid in the semis, but they put it all right this year, smashing Madrid and winning the CL trophy and the treble, only the second team to do that, but City have 2 trebles, now will any team get that elusive domestic treble. Also, City are going for a 4th Premier League in a row. 🏆🏆🏆

I appreciate you referencing the state of Manchester City's roster when Pep arrived at the club. 1 of the oldest team's in the league. City legends still at the club out of their prime. And players like Joe Hart who didn't fit into Guardiola's style of play. So Pep not only had to transition into a much younger squad. But also had to bring in players that would allow him to install his philosophies. While simultaneously having to make the tough decisions to move on from beloved Man City veterans.

    • @football.cinema.
      @football.cinema.  ปีที่แล้ว +5

I feel like a lot of people are under the impression that he inherited a team that were treble-ready haha which is just so untrue and diminishes the job he’s done

@sidelinestarters As with many things critics bring up in attempt to belittle Man City & Pep. They hold little truth. Like: "Man City have a massive squad. 2 elite players in each position." Or "Pep is a checkbook manager". When in reality City's squad is actually 1 of the smallest. As Guardiola prefers. And whether you go back 3, 5, or even 8 years. Manchester City's net spending ranks them 8th-9th in the EPL depending on when you draw your data points. I appreciate the well wishes. I'm still absolutely buzzing! Very much obliged. Manchester City is playing the most beautiful football in the world. As long as pep is there, there is no threat to City dominance in Prem league. Also once they will clinch their first UCL trophy
They'll make it as a habit and UCL will also be a CITY show. With the likes of Haaland , AlvareZ , KDB etc.. No other team is competent to challenge CITY and at any levels.

@@football.cinema. Sure they can. The pep project is amazing. He has built a team. A team that is not tired of winning. Also the city management is very shrewd, they are not just pouring money like PSG or Chelsea, they are bringing players that suit their style of play and make them world class. City is the new Disney of football, I am not seeing a downfall from them any near future but the so called big clubs will surely tear apart. No dynasty existed forever on Earth.

When had Pep wanted for anything at Man City? Don't get me wrong, he's a tactical genius but he also is on a team who go out and get 3 out of 4 targets he asks for and almost always their top target. Outside of MAYBE Real Madrid, no team has the ability to just grab whatever player they desire.

The most impressive footbal project of the 21st century (so far anyway)? THAT, my friends, was Barcelona roughly 2005-2015. Guardiola was a part of that. But not he alone. Look how many players from their own academy played in those FOUR CL finals they won in that period. An academy constructed on the instructions of Guardiola's main mentor, Johan Cruijff. From the youngest to the first team, they all played the same style. All based, as Guardiola's teams today, on Cruijff's ideas. Guardiola is basically copying that style today with bought players with a practically unlimited budget. What's more impressive, mh? Producing Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Puyol, Pique, Messi etc. from your own academy or buying, buying, buying? Get a grip on reality folks. That Barcelona team was still better than MCity today. Because the core players had been playing together for years before they even made it to the first team. City can never copy that, unless they start at the bottom.

@@football.cinema. No it was omitted to shape a narrative that he was fired because of that. The plan to recruit Pep goes back longer than Pellegrini, when he came it was because that was the first time he was available and willing.

@@trevfisher bro I promise you’re looking way too deep into it 😂 I have nothing against Pellegrini. His incredible resume speaks for itself without me needing to list out his achievements with city in a video that’s discussing “How PEP Created the Man City Dynasty”

"How Pep Guardiola Built the Man City Dynasty"
No need to watch the video, he cheated.....the end.
All these videos will look damned stupid and moronic if City get a massive fine and kicked from leagues and competitions. All Pep has managed to do is bankrupt clubs. That is not a great record is it.

@@robindeepsingh6335 Erm, UEFA proved them guilty in a court of law. Due to a statute of limitations with UEFA, City just got a £22m fine and they had to ADMIT GUILT! So it is NOT a matter of guilt but how big the punishment will be. Pep saying he would leave if guilty. The guy is an utter clown.

Well when Pep started at city he had the oldest side age wide in the epl city hadmt won the title for 2 seasons and didnt win win in Peps 1st season. Both Man U and Citeh finished level on points the season before Pep taking over only qualifying over Man U on goal difeerence. Remmeber as well Jose won Comm Shield League Cup and Europa in 1st season. Since Citys resource is unlimited why did they get outbid for Alexis Sanchez Maguire Van Dijk Fred. As for a couple of pieces Citeh needed a lb n rb midfielder winger n a CB.Pep is one of the greatest coaches ever

The man who wins with tons of $$$$$$$$$$$$. Buys all the top players at any cost. Let's see how good a coach he really is by taking the job at, say, Burnley or Luton Town......with their squads and their budgets. Let's see how many trophies he would win. Most overrated football coach in the history of the game.
