A real question is how do you make the water valve work still. I can’t get it to work and let me shoot my gun. I think I’m pressing f too fast after their mangler canyon shot but I’ve also tried to do it like a half second later and it just pulls my guns out but doesn’t activate the water valve. Is there a trick to it

would getting a free ARCXD from the zombie head above the church, than going invincible with it on top of the church benches be of any help during the first phase? I can't remember if it distracts manglers from using ranged attacks. Also congrats i see a sub 14 being uploaded by you in a day or two.
@ if that’s the case it could be a settings thing with sprint assist delay being set to 0. With also the slide/dive behavior delay setting set to short

How's that valve weapon skip thing work? Shoot the Mangler Cannon's last blast at the same time you attach the valve or the same time you start dialing up the pressure?
I think it’s shoot last shot then turn the dial, but speed runners are fast enough to do both at once lol. Shooting the last shot forces you to take out your weapon allowing you to use it on the valve step
Shoot last bullet from mangler cannon then hold interact on the water valve step, if you time it right it will drop the mangler cannon and go back to your weapons while you’re doing the step
By hitting the target. May sound dumb but that's all there is to it. Just keep trying. Once you've done it a few times it becomes a lot easier and more consistent.
Lmao the RNG for these runs is honestly annoying.. just last night that damn old man wouldn’t spawn until like round 10,11 . Then a 2x points right after popping the hidden 2x points like what lol.

Why would that not be allowed? If it's patched out the run gets invalidated, but not if it doesn't get patched out. That's how these runs have always worked, for over 10 years at this point
Wonderbar, percaholic, kill joy, wall power, hidden power. Perkaholic for all the perk Use wonderbar to skip building the jet gun. (50/50 chance you get the ray gun so having your friends use wonderbar would help) Use wall power to get the GS45 off the wall pack a punch, then use hidden power on it. Kill joy just to be safe. Make sure you do the aetherella EE too in the boss fight. I did this with my friends under 30 mins.

A few things, at the start of season 1 the canister duplication glitch was patched making all runs which used it void. Just for your information the record at the end was a 12:36 by crbnn not snazzyrock. And finally not quite sure why using the aether shroud would void my run? Every runner including snazzyrock in the video you linked did the same thing. Plus it’s not even a glitch it’s an augment for aether shroud. Hope this helps
You would think someone confident enough to reply to a speed run criticizing it would understand the nuances. The canister dupe has been patched for over a week. The Aether jump is used in most of the world records. Great run @bdog102
1. The old records are no longer valid because of canister dupe. So this is the current WR of what is actually possible 2. All runs for weeks now have had aether jumps, that does not make a run void as it's not a glitch, so it won't be patched (even if it were a glitch it'd only be void if it WERE patched).

Almost all speed runs have a little RNG in them. I wonder how many times he had to restart the run because the groundskeeper wasn't there.
