0:46 Tip for running the ball! Presnap read the defense looks to be in cover 2 based on alignment and depth, and in 2, the corners are in run fits while the safeties aren't. In cover 4, it's the opposite the safeties are in run fits while the corners aren't.
37:43 look at the depth of the CB on the solo side. Presnap read shows cover 4 match based on depth of the CBs. If presented with a similar situation in the future just hike throw the slant.
14:13 when you throw that pass.. lead it to 8 oclock ( not 9 0clock). the te turns his shoulders back to catch it, but he keeps his momentum and keeps running towards that sideline..instead of fully turning around
2:24 Think you said it was the same look, but presnap read it's shows the defense came out in cover 4 or zero based off alignment and depth. Suggestion on this play flip it so your routes have more space to run open. Seeing it was a zero blitz rule of thumb is go to your hot. The TE hitch is open and with it being 2nd and short easy 1st and the chains keep moving.
7:29 Once again hope you're not taking offense to my comments but I'm just here watching the film with you and sharing with you what I'm seeing. Presnap read shows the defense in cover 3 which version of 3 we won't know until post snap but knowing the rules of base and match the reads are similar. Also knowing down and distance is key. This play your reads are B🔴 to RB⬜️ to Y🟡 based on route development vs. the defensive shell. Here's why. Going back to knowing down and distance you should hot route or stem B🔴 to the 1st down marker or just past it because at the depth it's being ran currently that WR is irrelevant on this particular play. 8:38 had you hot routed or stemmed him to the 1st down easy pitch and catch. 1st down.
Love the content Max. Any chance we could get a defensive film room as well? Transitioning from a 3-4 to a 4-3 and trying to find the right times to run each coverage and blitz looks. Keep it up!
3:50 Hopefully your not taking offense to my comments but I watch your content and see the potential just need some fine tuning. PLEASE start running your plays with the strength to the wide side of the field. Will improve your offense tremendously. Presnap read here shows cover 1 and if the play was ran to the wide side of the field your RB would have more space to take his defender away and yes should have hit that seam behind those blockers.
Would you be able to make a video about motivator? The third tier says that players get an off-season training boost but I never know how big of a boost that is. I was also wondering how big of a boost the coordinators give the players and what it would be like combined
it would be really cool if you keep doing this to get an app that lets you draw on screen like Epic pen (this is not an add there is a free version) so it can feel like a real film room study
6:55 i don't think that's a timing issue. It might be because you shift the line and they fully whiff. The screen OL should engage a bit and then drop to the flat.
28:50 this play had so much going right. The crossers worked, the wheel was open. With single high safeties make sure you run a GO with an outside WR or a corner post with an inside one. If A runs can be put on a corner route, it opens up the TE running over the middle while still keeping your wheel route in play.
40:10 turn B into a Hitch and this play is beautiful. Work outside in from B just like you did for X on the opposite side. Does the Corner playing off? Bullet. Corner playing up, look safety post snap 1st and see if the wheel has a shot. If not RB and then tuck it.
Max saves a football-less Tuesday with another banger 🙏🏾

I swear to god, if you don’t make more of these, I’ll Unsubscribe. 😂
Terrific content, Max.

Love this type of video
40:09 hahahaha! The FS ran all the way across to field to cover the RB. An early pass to the RB leaves him 1 on 1. A juke and you have a solid gain. 😀

Whoop whoop needed this, I suck at offense but need to play better defense
Hopefully this helps!! May make a defensive one too if ppl want
@@maxplayscfb that would be pretty interesting!
Watching video now. Would love to see a video on your cfb 26 wishlist. Things you like about this game and things you tHiNK should be improved.
That is legit on my calendar in early December !!

For sure!! Hopefully I can make it a tiny bit shorter too

Under what circumstances is it better to running plays t the weak side/ what concepts are better to each side
@playmker2002 down and distance, play development, and what the defense is in...

You should try to run a match coverage like nick sabans bama back in the day

Yeah about halfway through I was like “golleeee man, I need some way to draw”

11:30 ya get a better RT. Until then, stay out of empty sets. Having an RB or TE in to block will fix the issue.
20:25 wise words. You got this!

33:12 if only your LT had the awareness of your TEs.
