Turkey came 8th with the juries but still managed to placed 2nd overall.
Well, Romania would have been in 2nd ahead of Turkey under the new voting system.
In 2012 Russia was 11st with the juries but came 2nd overall
in 2019, russia placed 9th with the juries and 4th with the televote and came 3rd overall, so it’s all about points, not placing

If a song wins JURY AND TELEVOTING it's not overrated and deserved to win!!!
Germany simply had the best performance in nearly everyones opinion back then

I mean when i said ppl in ma country say manga should have won,i actually thought manga won in televote or smth and lost in juries but i looked to the real results AND saw it was germany that won in both so i cant undertsand why they still say that

A quite rarely talked about thing is that Germany won by a landslide in 2010, with 76 points ahead of the 2nd place. Would have also finished 118 points ahead in the new voting system. So although Lena's score total might not be that high compared to other years, it was quite far ahead of the pack.
And Turkey have the nerve to say they were robbed

People now you can see Lena won both jury and televote so that means she would have won even if turkey got 2nd in jury (also at the time she actually won with a landslide)
Germany is still one of my favourite songs ever in eurovision :) and you can still hear it in Polish radio in 2021

I think you might need to get your ears tested. The UK song is Bad. Like the lyrics are incredibly cringy. His voice is alright but there are lots of clashing notes (not his fault the song was badly written) with him and the backing singers (just listen to the chorus. What the backing singers are singing sounds off). It sounded incredibly dated even in 2010. We had a national selection but only to choose the artist so we didn't choose this song either.

Germany won the televoting by 66 points over Turkey, so they never had a chance of winning anyway. The 2nd to 8th in televoting is quite tight as well, only 26 points separating the 7 countries.

Azerbaijan, Armenia and Denmark are criminally underrated. The only thing that I'm pleased with jury is Romania. They were underrated by televoting but here they got what they deserve
As a Turk I think that Turkey was overrated by televoting and a bit underrated by jury but overall still overrated:) how about Germany... Well, deserved to win but for me it was definitely overrated. Azerbaijan, Denmark, Romania, Armenia, Belgium were better songs imo.
