Why is everyone "shipping" Laura with anyone she collabs with? Just because she gets along with them doesn't mean they should be a couple haha. Aleks's board wasn't flat though, it had a very obvious bow in it, not very good for a cutting board in my opinion. Watch MTMwood on TH-cam, he makes amazing cutting boards.

Holy Cow! Since when the wood worker became so hot? Compare to Norm Abram, Steve Ramsey and Marc Sth (sorry forgot his full name, wood whisperer host), these ladies must be ultimate modern wood worker. They bring wood working to a new age. The beauty of wood working is not just the final product, nor the working process, but also the beauty of the wood worker.

am curious to know why no biscuits or dowels were used for joinery and why wasnt wood plained to remove bows
Biscuits or dowels are not necessary. The glue joint is plenty strong. Titebond III instead of II may have been a better choice for pieces that will presumably get washed with water.

You can use Stodoys and plans. The best plans and very detailed instructions. You can learn a lot from them and do it yourself.
when you tie an apron the strings must tie behind the body so that they are away from machinery and the work, the bows are not a fashion statement, they are improper sloppy practises.
