Hi, I wanted to buy a honda city 2001 model . The vehicle is TN registered. Second owner . All the papers are upto date and the vehicle is in good condition. How much tax will be calculated for a car that is 22 years old. The ex showroom price was gives as 8.45 lakh in kerala. The re registration charge for a car which is 15yr old (other state )was given was 7% . Will the amount be lesser then 7%?. And is it mandatory to get it re-registered.
Yes it is mandatory to re-registration...but i would suggest to not take that old vehicle...
