    I put a disproportionate amount of work into the "Intermission" segment. 😜

    Hi, love the tutorial but Ive run into trouble. When I try to paste it into the main timline it overwrites things, makes a black background and I cant undo, si I had to rebuild the beginning. Unless I missed something I dont see the instruction for adding it over your video. thanks and sorry if this is a dumb question

      If your title and main timeline are two different sequences, you should be able to either:
      (1) Drag the sequence from the project panel into your main sequence (which will add the entire thing as one nested sequence).
      ... or...
      (2) Copy the title effect layers from one sequence (CMD + V) and paste them into your main sequence (CMD + V). But... make sure you've selected a track in the main timeline ABOVE your footage track (i.e. V1, V2, V3, etc.). That should paste the copied layers on tracks above your footage, rather than overwriting your footage.
      Make sense?
      P.S. You'll see which video track is selected just to the left of the timeline, highlighted in blue. Click to toggle.

    As in your example above, having two layers, how would you export out as a single motion graphic template

    • @UnduMedia
      @UnduMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You wouldn't. You are correct... if you intended to create a .mogrt you'd be better off doing this all on one layer.
      The same effect is totally doable on one layer. Truthfully, it was just a little simpler to explain this way. No matter how I scripted it, doing it on one layer wound up being a longer video. And I try to keep things as concise as possible for TH-cam audience retention reasons.
