Hi, I have question plzzz fist of all thank for this Video. its very helpful. could you mauby explain how to use those template in Vertical? I tried to change the sequence sitting from 1920x1080 to 1080x1920 but it didn't work very well because you must to re-edit the size of the transition. when I tried to edit them I couldn't get the same results of the same horizontal transition. can you please help? many thanks, Amer
Thanks for the tutorial, watched several videos for importing transitions but found your video very easy to understand...You ve got wonderful voice. keep it up
Great question. That will only work if your nest INCLUDES the video clips you want to apply the transition to. I.E. You can't nest the transition layers and drop that nest above your footage in the timeline. But you can drop the transition layers in your timeline, and then create a nest with those layers AS WELL as your footage. OR replace the placeholder clips in the transition with the end/start portions of your two clips (which is actually required for a few of the transition templates I didn't explicitly cover in the tutorial).
No, sorry. If you really wanted to, you could try rotating the entire effect (many are left-right or up-down... so just use the one that's 90 degrees of what you want). You could also edit each layer in the effect appropriately, but it's a little time consuming.
Hello. Firstly, thanks for the video. It's great. But I have an issue. I want to do all these effects to a 9:16 ratio. When the sequence is 9:16, the effect's not work well. What should I do?
Hi Undu. I really appreciate your work and was very excited using them all. But could you help me on fixing some problems? I'm just kinda bit new to premier pro (updated 2023). whenever I import and open the project file (for example zoom), it would always have this 4 frames during the transition itself (where the cut is located). actually all the 10 templates i had had the same problem. any tips on how to fix it? thanks !
Two quick questions: 1. What are your computer specs? Make, year, processor, RAM, graphics card, etc. 2. Have you tried rendering the timeline (or at least the transition section on the timeline)? My first guess is that you might not have the processor speed or GPU to properly preview the transition in the timeline... but it may actually work just fine when rendered.
@@UnduMedia the specs fits the job but it's really due to the transition from an old version of Premier to the new one (tempalte was made from an older version of premier). I think its a bug but I still haven't found solution to it :(
@@rickyricardo58 yup you need to downgrade your premier. i got the newest one but the template was made on a earlier version. thats the only way to fix it
In my project, the Left Sideways Swipe Transition effect is not working as expected. Instead of creating a smooth swipe transition, the video splits into four blocks, and the effect only applies within those blocks. I'm unsure if this is a settings issue or a bug.
Unfortunately there's no "one-click" way to scale these transitions. And it would definitely be a case-by-case situation (depending on the layers/effects/clips making up the transition). Many of the transitions can be edited by scaling up each individual layer in the effect, and then adjusting the parameters of each effect on the layer. I've actually done this. But, to be perfectly honest, it can take a little time to get right. Sorry I don't have an easier solution for you.
I guess my only question being: Do the video clips need to be slow moving/slow motion for these to effectively work? I noticed all (if not most) of these clips are slow moving. Would these transitions work for fast paced clips, or am I watching the wrong video?
Did you turn "Insert and overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips" off? (Top-left icon in the timeline panel... should be white, not blue.) My first guess is that you didn't toggle that icon off, and that you dragged the full transition sequence into your timeline, rather than the individual clips from that sequence. If that doesn't solve it, I'd need to know which version of Premiere Pro you're on, which transition you're having trouble with, and what you mean by "dragged the transition to my sequence" (i.e. describe exactly what you did).
Thank you for your video! But [In and out zoom transition 47] doesn't work well. It says there is no "Elastic Transition" what should I do? Please help me.
It does look like the In and Out Zoom Transition 47 is missing a file... "Power Zoom Transition.mp4". But that isn't necessary for the transition effect... it's just a placeholder video clip I think. If you get a "Missing Media" warning when you import the project file (mixkit-47.prproj), just select "Offline" in the bottom right of that dialogue box. Once you've imported the project file, you should see a folder containing a sub-folder named "Assets" and a sequence named "Power Zoom Transitions". Open that up. You'll probably see a red "Media Offline" in the program monitor, and the missing media clip on the Video 1 track in the timeline. DELETE the clip on Video 1... you don't need it. After you deleted it from the timeline, you can also delete it from the Assets folder. All you need the are the adjustment layers on Video tracks 2, 3 and 4. Copy those 3 layers to YOUR sequence (with the cut points aligned with your cut point). That should do the trick.
"Thank you for creating the instructional video; it's excellent. I'd like to ask, I've tried using it with 4k video files, and I encountered issues where it doesn't seem to work. Can you provide some guidance? I noticed that the video you created is in 4k resolution and transitions work seamlessly."
This is going to sound crazy... The transition templates are really only made for 1080p. You CAN manually upsize most of them... but that requires manipulating values for every layer in the transition. And it's time consuming. BUT... I really prefer uploading only 4K videos to this channel. So what I actually did was create the entire transition montage in 1080p (at which size the transitions work great)... then I upsized that video in After Effects (with Detail Preserving Upscale) and exported a lossless version of the montage at 4K, which I then added into my 4K tutorial. I screen-recorded the tutorial in 4K. But within Premiere Pro I was actually working on a HD sequence. Long answer... sorry. BUT it's worth pointing out that with the right settings (and decent source video) you can often export a 4K video from HD footage... and most people would never be able to distinguish the difference (particularly after TH-cam adds its own compression).
I used your tutorial already in my last video editing "Alexandria" I upload it on my TH-cam channel from 3 days, I hope you like it .. I promise to put your channel in the final of my next video in special thanks final list with all of my appreciation, Thank You :)
Only if you either: (a) Rotate them. But then of course any effects will be rotated. ... or... (b) Are willing to go into each effect layer and edit the necessary parameters to fit. I've done this before. But it can be a tedious process.
this so helpful, however i have downloaded my transition and i dont know how to download the " unzipped file" of the transition, so i dont get the the project file of the transition. please help.
Thank you, but I'm getting a bug with transitions that contain the zoom element. For example, with Zoom Transition and Sideways Zoom Transition, it starts off well, but then the second scene (the video that it transitions into) suddenly becomes a quarter of the screen. In Zoom Transition, I found out that it's the Mirror in the Adjustment Transition layer that is causing the problem. Though if I delete the Mirror in Effects control, the transition doesn't look as good as it does. How can I fix this? Much thx and appreceation.!
I'll try help as best I can. But first... 1. Have you tried rendering your sequence (or at least the section with the transition applied)? 2. hi bro plz share with me the violin sound track link. really need it for my travel video project. will be grateful to you. tried a lot but failed to find it in mixkit or any other platform.
I've answered this numerous times in the comments. So to save a little time I'm copy/pasting a previous reply: Unfortunately there's no "one-click" way to scale these transitions. And it would definitely be a case-by-case situation (depending on the layers/effects/clips making up the transition). Many of the transitions can be edited by scaling up each individual layer in the effect, and then adjusting the parameters of each effect on the layer. I've actually done this. I was really happy. I spent an hour trying to download everything only to find out that none of the transitions work because there are missing files in all of them and they don’t exist anywhere.
That's not true. I do know that a couple of the transitions are missing placeholder videos. But that shouldn't affect your ability to use the transitions. But MOST are fully intact. Are you sure the files are "missing"? Or do you just need to relink to the correct folders (as I mentioned in the video)?
Is this not true?? Oh really? You were next to me when I spent 4 hours. When did I lose 4 hours!?? Do you think I'm one of your usual 15-year-old followers who have nothing better to do than leave fake reviews? I'm not your age and I don't give a damn about TH-cam channels. I'm forced to make a crappy video with Canva since Clipchamp doesn't have the option to resize videos. I've been wasting my time for 3 days trying to do this, and it's NOT POSSIBLE. There isn't a single 'asset' in the mixkit files you provided!! This video is beautiful but Impossible to do
Okay... to date, I've been nothing but pleasant and trying to help. So, let's go through your comments one-by-one: 1. "Oh really?"... yes... oh, really. And to prove it, I just screen recorded myself downloading and opening up one of the transitions (first one I came across). And I uploaded the following video to demonstrate. I implore you to watch it: th-cam.com/video/I6lEY87g8fk/w-d-xo.html 2. You may not be fifteen years old. But you're whinging like a six year old. 3. You're not my age? I'm willing to bet you'd be surprised about my age. 4. You're using Canva??? This might be the problem to begin with! Nothing against Canva per se... but these transitions are specifically made for Premiere Pro... not Canva. It says that RIGHT IN THE VIDEO TITLE. 5. I'm sorry if you wasted 3 days. Truly I am... I've been there myself. But these transitions are ENTIRELY POSSIBLE... if you're using the editing software they were created for and follow the instructions in the video. 6. Thank you for... despite all the rest... saying the "video is beautiful". 7. Have a nice day.
I DON'T HAVE TIME to learn to do that on Premiere Pro! SO I watch videos. but your video is full useless 'cause it doesn't work. It looks nice, but it's not a credit to you. The visuals and transitions are already like that on Mixkit. Make an effort and stop with your kindergarten responses.
LMAO!! Lemme get this straight... just so I'm clear... You watch a PREMIERE PRO tutorial... then get mad at me... call the video useless... on and on... because it doesn't work in Canva??? That's what's going on here, right? Good luck with your video project.
My first thought is that you may not have as recent a 2020 version as the transitions were created in. Only way to test that theory would be by updating to either (a) the most current version of Premiere Pro; or barring that... (b) 2020 release 14.9 (I think that's the last 2020 release... although you may won't find that available anymore). Until you're on a more current version, I don't know how to help you. I haven't come across anyone else being unable to open the files with a recent version of Premiere Pro. If you DO decide to update... I'd recommend NOT doing so if you're in the middle of a project. Premiere Pro is notorious for mucking up projects when you update major versions (and even more so if you skip a couple versions... like going from 2020 to 2023). It likely won't destroy your project entirely... but cuts between clips might change by a frame or two, or audio tracks may be slightly off... stuff like that.
They're all built for horizontal aspect ratios. Some might work if you edit the parameters in the effects. With most of the Static or Bokeh or Zoom transitions, for example, you could just rotate the overlay layers 90 degrees and they'd probably work. Other effects might take a little more adjusting to make work.
I don't think this works with the new PP update. I did everything as the video, but the transition displays 4 square boxes in the middle from other random clips that are within my timeline. Rendered and all that, on the latest MAC release as well.
Thanks, Stefan. Most of my editing is on a spec'd out 2020 27" iMac (yup... I was one of those dummies who was too impatient to wait for the M1's at the time).
I'd suggest reading the license for the type of item you're dowloading: mixkit.co/license/ For Video Templates (including the transitions in this video) the license says: "Items under the Mixkit Video Templates Free License can be used in your commercial and non-commercial projects, for free." That includes videos for TH-cam. As with ALL stock asset sites, there are limitations. See: mixkit.co/terms/

It turned out, the bug existed because of the frame size. Now that I changed it to 1920 to 1080 it works perfectly.
Thank you very much
Hey buddy , I got the same issue , have you found anything to solve it?!
name of starting music pls

Any of the transition project files can be imported into any other project.
hi bro plz share with me the violin sound track link. really need it for my travel video project. will be grateful to you. tried a lot but failed to find it in mixkit or any other platform.
how about if i have a vertical video? how to change one transition to that format? thank you
wondering the same
@@fishshake1833 same heereee! Any answers on this?
How to change transition resolution size for different resolution size sequence.
I've answered this numerous times in the comments. So to save a little time I'm copy/pasting a previous reply:
Unfortunately there's no "one-click" way to scale these transitions. And it would definitely be a case-by-case situation (depending on the layers/effects/clips making up the transition).
Many of the transitions can be edited by scaling up each individual layer in the effect, and then adjusting the parameters of each effect on the layer. I've actually done this. But, to be perfectly honest, it can take a little time to get right.
Sorry I don't have an easier solution for you.
Thank you for your response.@@UnduMedia
So, let's go through your comments one-by-one:
1. "Oh really?"... yes... oh, really. And to prove it, I just screen recorded myself downloading and opening up one of the transitions (first one I came across). And I uploaded the following video to demonstrate. I implore you to watch it: th-cam.com/video/I6lEY87g8fk/w-d-xo.html
Will it work with Premiere pro 2019😢
They're designed for 2020 and above (sorry).
Wow, great stock. So awesome but what do they earn?
Sorry... confused... what do you mean?
Which font you used?
Hey Undu, great job. Kindly tell me the sfx name you used with transition 8, or the link to the sfx.
Thank you!!
Transition names and links are in the description. Follow this link and look for "Falling Box":
mixkit.co/r/undu-transitions
@@UnduMedia thank you. What about the sound effect you used on transition 8?
Ah... right... I used "Mechanical Tool Click", which you'll find here:
mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/click/
(I kinda sliced it up to make it work)
@@UnduMedia fantastic, thank you so much for your help.
No problem!
Thanks for the tutorial but I can't import or open the asset with my premiere pro. I'm using Premiere 2020 version... I really need your assistance.
@@UnduMedia Thanks for your help... I was able to get the updated version.
Will this work for vertical videos?
They're all built for horizontal aspect ratios. Some might work if you edit the parameters in the effects. With most of the Static or Bokeh or Zoom transitions, for example, you could just rotate the overlay layers 90 degrees and they'd probably work. Other effects might take a little more adjusting to make work.
I don't think this works with the new PP update. I did everything as the video, but the transition displays 4 square boxes in the middle from other random clips that are within my timeline. Rendered and all that, on the latest MAC release as well.
Which transition?
I also have this problem with the zoom transition from mixkit
Hey buddy , I got the same issue , have you found anything to solve it?!
Thanks !!
You're very welcome!
Thanks for informing 😅
You're very welcome. Thank you!
Nice video man.. What Mac do you use?
Thanks, Stefan. Most of my editing is on a spec'd out 2020 27" iMac (yup... I was one of those dummies who was too impatient to wait for the M1's at the time).
can we use in our videos?/ any copyright issue?
I'd suggest reading the license for the type of item you're dowloading: mixkit.co/license/
For Video Templates (including the transitions in this video) the license says: "Items under the Mixkit Video Templates Free License can be used in your commercial and non-commercial projects, for free."
That includes videos for TH-cam.
As with ALL stock asset sites, there are limitations. See: mixkit.co/terms/
Thank you🎉
