I think the biggest issue is that people with the DX09 OG version got the more correct no lumpy suit... and the 2.0 has lumpy.. its less accurate as far as the suit, thats factual. Folks just expected better.. Especially long time collectors that already have the older version.

The suit is controversial because it's not supposed to have any texture...at all. It's seen as smooth throughout the whole movie.
The 1.0 wasn't accurate either, but at least it wasn't as textured as this one.

Thanks for watching. The original suit (movie) had some texture - I put a pic from the movie to compare. Agreed that HT did add more texture but still imo it looks good in hand. Thank you watching my friend :)

In the movie after Batman saves Vicky from the art museum...in the following scene he gets shot in the alley by the 2 thugs. The thugs inspect him and poke his armor showing a close-up of the suit...definitely smooth :)
