Well Luie I think Osage Orange is one of the coolest wood around. I also think you made a very pretty bowl by adding the Walnut to the mix. Great editing on the video. Nice one my friend, Gary
Nice. I love it. It has tons of character with that grain and the shape is perfect. I can’t wait to get back into my shop to turn. This makes me want to turn right now. Thanks for sharing.
@@spindlesworkshop9744 I will be on the lookout for some osage Orange. I have only had a small hollow branch to turn but I loved it. That grain on the 45 degree angle on yours is very eye catching. I was also happy with you saving the inside of the walnut piece. It will be another asset later.
Beautiful work Luie.....keep em coming

Glad to see you back turning. Hope all is well. Very attractive bowl.

Nice work, Luie. I think I would omit the Osage Orange ring at the bottom and just go with the Walnut. Other than that, well done.
@@walshjp17 Thank you so much for your support 👍
Nice work! Last time I turned Osage Orange, it turned brown over time. It was more on the orange color side than the yellow. Does that yellow darken?
@@WoodturningWithJohnMarro I do believe it will darken over time. Thank you for stopping by 👍
