Actually have the 2.5l hybrid. It's fun to drive and very fuel efficient. Tops put at 180kmh. The CVT is very impressive with the paddle Shifters
It doesn’t have a CVT. It got an E-cvt . Something very different from a CVT. Its one piece of engineering that its taught in universities in the USA.
I think the crown competes more with the e-class mercedes and the 5-series bmw, don't you think? But all in all, very nice car. Superb presentation Ibrahim, twendelee na mareviews, tunakusupport kabisa.

I'mma buy this car. Been looking for a car to upgrade to from the Mark X and I couldn't find one thats reliable, affordable, classy, and stylish with an intact resale value. These German wags are always parked in the garage over minor problems. So I'd rather spend 5M on the premium Crown RS than waste money on a benz or beamer. Thank you for this review, heaven sent

For the 0-100 kph time in addition to the factors you've rightfully highlighted, also account for up to 5% loss in bhp/torque due to age. In addition to this loss in power due to elevation about 1.5% per 1,000m. Nairobi is 1790 that is 2.7%. Total loss in power= roughly 8% due to all these additional factors. Others to also consider, road, tyres, ambient temperature - affecting oxygen and drag levels etc.

Good work team!!! Of note, the upcoming new crown is the 'coupe', from 2024 we shall have 3 crown body types - the coupe, suv+wagon= the crown signia and the sedan, the first one to be released which seems weird is the 'coupe'
Hope they maintain the sedan coz the coupe looks really wierd
How do you compare Crown to BMW 7 series and Merc S class surely..
the crown directly competes with the Mercedes e class and the BMW 5 series not the S class or the 7 series the Toyota century is the direct competitor of the S class and 7 series

Bro, honest review: your camera quality is wanting. Content iko fiti, but with all these 4k hdr 120hz dolby vision TV's around we can be able to tell from a mile away any quality short of prestine. 1080p sdr video doesn't cut it anymore. Sometimes the videos are avoided because of that. Consider upgrading. Anyway, good work

Very broad and different selection choice, if practicality is important to you then the TXL or the double cab will make more sense. If you are more into business or farming and you might need to haul things around occasionally the Toyota hillux double cab will be the best further more they share engine and transmission with the TX or TXL so nothing to loose in terms of reliability and finally if you looking for a luxury on road family car then the crown will carry the day, fast enough, comfortable, reliable and stylish
