I am really looking for a good synthesizer. And I really like modx. I would like to know from you how complex it is, how difficult it is to understand it. It sounds pretty good. It can be used to make beats and a great fm sounds. It is even possible to do my favorite DnB wooble and reese sounds? Thank you

Having a decent piano sound is a standard for synth manufacturers. However, for something like this, I appreciate any demonstration that goes right into sound design capabilities and new programming technology. Enough with the basic kitchen sounds.

Ciao grazie, sono 3 synth diversi tra loro.. uno che ha 30 anni ma era una top di gamma, uno attuale che fa tutto ed è mid level e l’altro un Virtual analog.. dipende cosa serve a te in realtà, sicuramente modx è quella + versatile delle tre ma sono troppo distanti tra loro per decidere a sentimento ;)

Purtroppo non avendo modo di testare agevolmente gli strumenti cerco di farmi un'idea in base a recensioni, video, interviste, opinioni e quant'altro possibile, per potermi indirizzare verso eventuali acquisti.. ed in effetti avevo pensato anch'io al MODX6, vista la indubbia versatilità, compattezza e potenza del mezzo (..e mi sa proprio che prossimamente..). Sono attirato tantissimo dal system8, con i suoi suoni roland classici.. ma mi bloccano i 49 tasti.. Però ho visto un tuo video con una prova del VST arturia jun 6 ed un altro della synth anatomy con il Jupiter e, sebbene non sia un fanatico della tipologia virtuale, riconosco che possano essere una valida alternativa... Che tu sappia sarebbe possibile caricare questi due plugin con ableton su un tablet e comandarlo con il modulo extern di una Nord stage 2ex? Grazie e sempre complimenti!!

Hello Friend. Did you edit any parameters inside the keyboard to make it sound really beautiful or did you just play it without editing any timbre? I am very interested in buying this keyboard, but I have a friend who bought it and then sold it. He talks a lot, but he talks very badly about this keyboard. This keyboard can't sound that bad. If you can answer me I thank you too much, because I am researching him enough to make the purchase and not regret it. Thank you!

Hi Marcelo! In this video and also in part 2 and 3 of Modx i’ve used all the preset sounds. I use montage from 2017 and i love it, you can’t go wrong with modx ;)

Korg Krome EX had the sequencer so it's a workstation vs a synth like the MODX

I use both, and both have advantages. I prefer the krome (88) for bread & butter sounds, and the modx (7) for sound creation. They share enough common ground that if I can only gig with 1 keyboard I could use either (modx is much lighter than the krome). Also, krome has a sequencer, so those lighter gigs there’s less need for a laptop (tho I also use lots of vst synths so I wouldn’t gig without one).

This is a mid level synth, if you prefer motif, you have to look at Montage ;) not modx
