It’s a joke about kholing. On ketamine you dissociate from your body - do enough you get strange stream of consciousness evolving visualizations known as a “khole.” It’s not like psychedelic drugs where you see fractals or visual hallucinations. Feeling like a wet tv left in the rain is accurate. It feels like flipping through channels on a television, but the stations are strangely euphoric manifestations of your own unconscious. It’s an extremely pleasant experience for most people, as it makes you feel like a king in complete control of your own world, but you come down and real reality is the same as it was before.
The chorus is reaching 'Candy May'-levels of fantasticness.
Well that's 3 absolute bangers so far from this upcoming album, cannot wait. Looking forward to seeing Alex live in April too!!

the moat/boat line is the most obscenely catchy thing i have heard in a long time. cannot stop. and love the fake piano playing at the end. all perfect. really hope you go on tour again someday.

As the years go by, AlCam reminds me more and more of a young Bryan Ferry. Maybe a bit more "left field", but just as suave and cool.
