Do it if you can. Ive seen top tier acts from around the world and to this day John Maus was my favorite concert. I saw him like 5 or 6 years ago in Boston and still think about that experience. I've never felt that before. The shared pain, relief, and release. It was like therapy for the largest group of people. I've never felt that connected as I did there. So many people just screaming with John, then the happiness/triumphant feeling of some of his songs hit and you feel like you are overcoming whatever is hurting you with a large group of people. GO SEE THE MAUS MAN.
The best thing about his concerts is the fact that every single person in the audience frenetically celebrates these emotions. A musical genius, with a sense of mission, who conveys the message through his powerful voice !!
@@fanda6122 He went through some really harsh times, you can see it during his Paris Pitchfork performance, right after all that happened and he kept performing without his band. I think what kept him going was the cathartic nature of his performances.
Holy shit, that's actually insane. he plays in America all the time and its actually rare to see him touring UK for once, gonna see him here. But wow I'm sure he would have played a US tour next year. But anyway that's cool how passionate you are for his music, rock on man
would be sick to see john ACTUALLY play synth/loops live! i know he's been seen on stage with the roland sp-404.... idc what it is it would just be sick to see him jam :/
Saw him in Sweden in August. Amazing experience. Loved his music ever since I first heard And The Rain when I was in high school. Much love from Sweden ❤️
wish i got the chance to attend one of his concerts like this.. when I saw him in Melbourne Australia it really sucked because of the crowd... a kind of mix of women leering at him sexually.. guys fighting and throwing beers, and people just watching without moving... mixed with that unique sense of pain and disatisfaction that maus has and always directs back at himself
I just saw him at Greenman fest, it was quite fascinating at first but I had to leave in the end. It was way OTT for me, hyper emo, too much wailing, I thought he was having an emotional breakdown on stage but I guess that’s his whole schtik. I really enjoy the recorded versions still though.
he is so back
YES
HE IS BACK
I LOVE HIM
I MUST SEE HIM LIVE
i thought he had dieded or smtg

I'm flying from Texas to England to see him next month, I hope I can dance and enjoy the show/not cry the whole time lol.

DA GOAT
legend
With muted audio it seems a one man grindcore performance
John rules
this is big
i know it sounds kinda derogative but I love so much that he is just banging the tracks on his laptop but the energy on the concert is over peak
Good to see him going. I thought he started teaching again and gave up his music but I guess not.

He actually pissed himself at this show....
